I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Caprera and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Venice. The hotel is in an excellent location, making it very convenient to explore the city and get around easily. Despite being so well situated, it provided a comfortable and welcoming place to return to after a long day of sightseeing.
The hotel was very clean, tidy and well maintained throughout my stay. What made the experience especially memorable, however, was the kindness and hospitality of the management. They were incredibly accommodating, helpful and genuinely caring. They were always approachable and willing to assist whenever I needed anything, which made me feel very comfortable and well looked after.
Their warmth and personal attention gave the hotel a lovely, homely atmosphere that can be difficult to find in such a busy tourist destination. It was clear that they truly care about their guests and want everyone to have an enjoyable stay in Venice.
Hotel Caprera offers an excellent combination of a fantastic location, cleanliness, comfort and genuinely wonderful hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to other travellers. I will definitely choose Hotel Caprera again when I return to Venice.

The staff really made this place into a great hotel. They always made us feel welcomed and even provided my daughter with a small gift on checkout which she loved.
Its a basic 2 star hotel but everything is fully functioning and clean. Aircon was good, smart tv. Just missing a small fridge in the room. Breakfast basic but still good with croissants, ham, cheese, bread, yogerts, cereal and fruit.
Location is super, you can walk with suitcases from train station and use one of two boat stops. Its even walking to main square if you dont mind a longer walk.
Given the price point of many of the hotels in Venice, this one represents good value and we were pleased with our stay here.

Meets and exceeds the reviews !! The staff of this family run hotel ( over 70 years ) is so close to rail and transport options and is tie central part of Venice !! Old style Venice which is perfect close to the canoal but is so quiet . We would stay here again !!
