Great Hotel in town centre

- Location is excellent. Right in town centre - Parking - if you are staying only 1 night it's worth paying at the carpark machine (7EUR per day). If more than that the hotel can sort it for (9EUR) for 3 days - Breakfast was excellent - owners super friendly and spoke English. - big room and beautiful old building

- as an old building the wooden floors can be quite squeaky. - pillows were way too soft for my liking. However if you like a limited pillow no dramas.

Great location and clean but beds not very comfortable

Very good location right in the middle of the town. Very clean rooms in a historical building. Also the breakfast was very good.

Beds were not very comfortable, they are firm and older. Also the baby cot provided did not have a proper mattress but a thin layer of mat which was not even the right size, had gaps in places.

Excellent stay in Monschau

Our host were fantastic. Nothing was too much and they have made our stay very pleasant indeed. We got towels for the Spa, a lovely breakfast and a room with a wonderful view. We were able to park in one of the 3 big parking garages in town for 3 euros a day and booked by the hotel.

There is nothing to mention that was negative.

Very spacious room

Our room was very big with a separate living/dinning room which was perfect for us to have baby in bed early while we could relax without worrying of wearing him up. Breakfast was also excellent. Plus the location is great!

Pleasant

location in the center

We arrived before 18 with 10 minutes but no one was there to give us the key. We tried to contact the property but we managed very hard with the help of some German tourists who spoke on the phone in our place because they did not have the option of English. After about an hour I whistled to stay and surprise. There was no towel in the room. I reported this in the morning at breakfast and they were suspicious about it. We were asked twice if we certainly didn't have towels… Poor breakfast, the whole floor creaks and the beds the same

Floorboards are a bit noisy at night (room above) but this is because of the structure of the old buildings and is not really a big issue, just good to know.

Great location in the center of Monschau and a very friendly host made our stay wonderful, we felt very welcome, despite strenuous circumstances (recent flooding in the basement). The breakfast was very nice as well, with good buns.

The pillows were very strange and shapeless. Otherwise, the bathrooms will need to be updated in the future, but given the price, they were adequate.

Wonderful & homey stay In Monschau

The owner was very thoughtful and friendly, and they have done a very good job in upkeep the building, room is very clean, our 7 months baby is very happy with her baby bed, and the breakfast was stunning! Of course the location was perfect! 100% recommended.

No parking space for your car. Officially temp parking for unloading luggage prohibited. Parking 300 m at public parking. Public parking to be paid for during office hours, also at these times at sat. and sun. No dinner served in the restaurant.

Hôtel très bien situé. Chambre confortable. Salle de bain petite mais suffisante. Nous sommes arrivés en dehors des heures de check-in mais les instructions étaient très claires pour récupérer la clé. La dame est très gentille et souriante.

Super erg genoten!

Het was een perfecte locatie. Je zit op niet eens een paar minuten lopen van het centrum. Hierdoor hebben wij alles goed kunnen bekijken. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. De kamers zijn prima met alle faciliteiten die je nodig hebt. Het is allemaal niet heel nieuw, maar het was meer dan prima. Ontbijt was voor ons erg goed. Je hebt veel keus en op zondag kregen wij zelfs een roerei.

Het is een wat gehorig hotel. Wij lagen aan de kant van de weg en je hoorde echt alle auto’s en mensen langskomen alsof ze naast je staan. Ook onze bovenburen hoorde wij erg goed, wat ervoor zorgde dat wij regelmatig wakker werden. Het is natuurlijk een oud gebouw, dat snappen wij. Alleen zorgde het bij ons voor een minder goede nachtrust. De kussen zijn ook heel zacht, dus als je een hard kussen gewend bent, neem die dan mee.

Super hotel

Heel vriendelijke host. Kamer schoon en ruim genoeg. Douche is eng, maar ook daar vind je je draai in. Ontbijtbuffet alles aanwezig en wordt aangevuld. Ik vroeg een tweede kussen, omdat me dat te dun is, was geen probleem en kreeg binnen 10 minuten nog een kussen gebracht. Ligging super, direct in de Altstadt van Monschau. Parkeren ook goed geregeld met het parkeerticket van de stad. Mijn hond en ik hebben een fijne rustige jaarwisseling daar gehad en komen graag terug.
