Escape from touristic Cochem

The location was really perfect: at the end of the road in the forest. The staff was very polite and friendly (except for the dog at the reception-desk). The restaurant exceeded our expectations: lovely menus and elegant wines.

Heel goed ontbijt en een hele fijne locatie op loopafstand van cochem. Prachtige omgeving

Heerlijk er even tussenuit.

Omgeving, de kamer was ruim, schoon en vanaf het balkon keken we zo het bos in.

De shampoo/doucheflacons waren leeg in de badkamer. De bedden waren wat hard.

Die Lage ist wunderschön an einem Bach und in einer extrem ruhigen Lage

Die Sauberkeit und der Geruch im Badezimmer. Haare von Vorgängern. Modriger Geruch in der Dusche und überall dreckig. Ich habe Bilder gemacht. Die Möbel abgenutzt und alt. Schade, aus dem Hotel könnte man mehr machen. Das Frühstück in Ordnung, obwohl es nur Kaffee und Tee gab. Nicht einmal eine Kaffeespezialität. Das ist doch heutzutage Standard.

Das Hotel liegt idyllisch im Wald und dennoch nahe am Zentrum der Stadt Cochem. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und die Cocktails in der Bar phänomänal gut.

Von der Lage her zu empfehlen

Sehr schön gelegen....mitten im Wald, großer Balkon. Natur pur und sehr ruhig. Ausstattung zwar alt aber passend zum Hotel. Im großen und ganzen weitere Übernachtungen nicht ausgeschlossen.

Personal nicht gerade freundlich....auf eine freundliche Anfrage wurde recht barsch beim Frühstück geantwortet. Wobei die ältere Dame an der Rezeption sehr zuvorkommend war.

hat mir gefallen. Komme wieder.

Lage- Top zwischen Felsen und Wald gelegen, optimal für Leute, die Ruhe haben wollen und trotzdem zu Fuß bis Cochem kein Problem. Hatte etwas im Zimmer verloren, Wurde tatsächlich gefunden und nachgeschickt. Danke. Auch für Motoradfahren ein ruhiges Ziel zum ankommen.

im offenen Biergarten waren alle Tische um 18:30 reserviert. Hat mir daher die Möglichkeit der Küchenprüfung genommen. sehr freundliches Personal mit leichten Verständigungsschwierigkeiten. Aber, auch das war kein wirkliches Problem. Aber, in Cochem war Weinfest. Passte. Bar war geschlossen.

Schönes Hotel in einem kleinen ruhigen Tal abseits vom Trubel

Also dieses Hotel ist zwar nicht das Modernste aber genau das hat mir in dieser schönen ruhigen Lage etwas außerhalb von Cochem in einem schönen Tal super gefallen. Frühstück war gut sogar Rührei mit Speck war da. Man kann direkt vorm Haus loswandern. Mein Zimmer war sauber und das Bett bequem kein Luxus aber Preisleistung stimmt!! Also ich kann es absolut empfehlen.

Das Restaurant hatte nur 3 Gerichte auf der Karte und die waren sehr teuer ab € 30,- habe also in Cochem gegessen. War aber evtl. auch Zeitlich bedingt!!!

Immer wieder gerne

Sind schon einige Male dort gewesen, immer wieder gerne. Parkplätze vorm Haus, Sehr ruhig, das Hotel liegt im Wald, Wanderweg geht direkt dort los. Abendessen empfehlenswert, wir fahren u.a. dorthin.
