Good location on the rue Daguerre, run market street with easy walk to restaurants and other areas
The bathroom had very old hair dryers that barely work, and the shower head would not stay in a spot that would actually be useful to take a shower (either it twisted to the side or you had to hold it) so it was not easy to wash and dry your hair.

The location is very convenient, comfortable bed
The sockets in the room were all not working very well

The quiet
Shower a bit too small in room 103

The location is very nice and in a quiet and popular district with many bar restaurants and chops.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was clean
The hotel was close to subway/metro entrances ( Gaiete and Denfert)
.
My room was tiny and unpractical.
The bathroom had a shower and a toilet separated from the room. The sink was in the room.
The shower was tricky to use because the water would leak outside to the room if the shower door was not close completely. Large person please abstain!
There was no closet to hang my jacket or raincoat.
There was as a desk in a tiny corner space that could not be used in the absence of a chair.
The bed for two persons could be really accessed on one side.
In a few words I have seen small rooms but this was the tiniest room I have seen in a 3 stars hotel

It’s close proximity to the meteor, the restaurants etc.
Stairs, but that’s my issue with knees

Very friendly, helpful and smiling staff. Very important for a good stay!
Very comfortable bed, and nice bathroom. Good housekeeping.
Lively street wiith lots of restaurants, cafes and bakeries.
We had superior room, and with that I had hoped/expected to have a view of the street. However, the view of the back was not unpleasant at all, and probably much quiter at night, so some would probably appreciate that.
Room quite small, but probably not unusual for Paris;-)

Great location, very clean, and nice helpful staff. The room was small, but the bathroom was a nice size, the air conditioning worked well, and the large window opened.
The wifi wasn’t great, and there were not enough plugs and the plugs were in very inconvenient locations (underneath the desk and bedside tables).

The location was ideal, not in the main centre but walking distance to the Catacombs and a station that's on a direct line to Gare du Nord station. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The doors were a little thin - you could hear people in the hallway but not between walls in the room - this is pretty standard with other Parisian hotels I've stayed in.

Breakfast was very limited.
Location was good, easy access to train and bus close by.
Safe neighbourhood, with some really good restaurants.
Friendly and helpful staff
There was nothing negative about our stay

Many restaurants nearby including Japanese food, vietnamese food & thai food. The location is quite near to Montparnasee Train Station (about 800m) and about 500m to Gaite Metro Station.
We stayed at this hotel for total 4 nights, each time 2 nights at different dates. The first room type we stayed in was deluxe twin room on first floor (no elevator access coz the elevator is on the 1.5 floor), the 2nd room type was deluxe double room on 2nd floor (we have to walk up to 1.5 floor to get in to the lift and get down at 2.5 floor, walk down half floor to the room). If any of you are carrying huge luggage you may need to consider this point. The deluxe twin room on first floor has a problem as the shower water splashed out and flooded the bathroom. It did not get dry till the next day house keeping. Imagine every time we walked in to the bathroom will be in flood situation. The deluxe double room on 2nd floor has walk in shower, so we did not need to worry on the flood problem but the deluxe double room is smaller in size and hardly fit in 2 large suitcases. I suggest you specify the room with walk in shower during booking of the room.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We did have a hiccup as we requested a walk in shower. Not a shower over the bath. The receptionist was very apologetic but it was just a misunderstanding. There are about 12 steps to reach a tiny lift capacity 1 person and a small suitcase but better than more stairs to climb. We did not have the breakfast. Great little street with lots of bakeries, restaurants and a small supermarket all within walking distance.
As above the shower over the bath. Montparnasse Gare the huge railway is within walking distance even with a wheeled suitcase. Drawback is the distance between this station and the subway. It is a very long way on escalators and walkways to reach it and does take plenty of time to reach. Also make a note of the street you want to exit from because there are a few exits and popping out of an unfamiliar street is frustrating.

We liked the street, the room, the receptionist from Algeria. Hotel is nice and cleaned, room and toilet also.

Small rooms, small beds

Friendly receptionists. Located in nice area.
Spiral stairs. Smallest elevator ever. Elevator was not working at the time of the check-out, so we have to carry our luggage from the third floor. According to receptionists, management sometimes disable elevator between 11 AM and 1 PM. I guess, they want to make their guests experience at the check-out, unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel.

Only had breakfast once and found it fair.
The hotel met my needs well. It is comfortable and friendly.

Great location, 10 - 15 mins walk from Gare Montparnasse, lots of interesting little streets to wander with small interesting looking shops. It seems to be the Italian area - lots of pizzerias! Hotel rooms are quiet. I had a single room with a king single bed which was comfortable. Even though the room was small, there was still room to move and everything you need, including space to hang clothes. Windows that open and views across Paris rooftops.
Probably not something that can be changed but be aware that the lift is very small and there are stairs to and from the lift. I wouldn’t attempt with bulky luggage

Very warm and friendly staff overall. The hotel was very cozy and well maintained. It was located on a prime street with access to good food and some nice boutique shops.
I wish they didn't need to charge and block the entire payment through pre-authorization unlike other booking.com locations that only charge once on arrival.

Located on a street with great boulangeries, restaurants and shops. Quiet neighbourhood.
The air conditioning wasn’t on yet and we had some warm nights, so had to leave our windows open but there were no screens

Room was a bit noisy

Rue Daguerre is situated in the 14th Arr.
the hotel is at the end of of the Rue, which is one of my favorites in Paris, access to public transportation is easy, 2 metro station and numerous bus lines are very close.
great selection of restaurants, pastry shops, supermarkets. you can't beta this location for "normal life"
the room (201) is tiny....

If you need to connect with TGV at Montparnasse the location is great. There are some really nice cafe's, bakeries and restaurants nearby.
The room was small but that was as advertised / I'm 6'3" and the shower was pretty tight. The bed was OK but again, quite small / we were only there for one night so it didn't trouble us too much but not sure how I would have felt about it if we were there for a few more days.

1. The location - 450m away the metro station and there were plenty of restaurants next by.
2. The room was nicely arranged and the bed was very comfortable.
3. It was clean, cosy and French really, you could feel the atmoshere of Paris in your room.
I was unlucky to suffer from the flat next to my room, in another building - extremely noise wouldn’t let me sleep an entire night and there was nothing both the service and the police could do about it.

Perfect location. Absolutely amazing street, well connected to train stations, metro and bus to the airports. The area has lots of amazing shops and a great ambiance.
No coffee or tea facilities in the room. Room was comfortable but very basic and dated.

I loved the location, there was so much to love about the hotel and the location.

We have stayed at Daguerre many times now. We love the street it is on and it is also near where our son lives. It is near Metro stations and Denfert-Rocherau station so we can get from the airport to near where we are staying.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. It is not the most luxurious of hotels but is great for what we need.
The rooms are not very bright and airy but are comfortable

very nice Parisian feel. decent proximity to metro
very small, elevator does not reach bottom of stairs

Room small, but comfortable. Good shower and storage space for clothes. Great bakery and restaurants on same street. Very convenient to all bus routes throughout Paris. Close to bus to and from airport, much cheaper than taking a taxi. 25 minute bus ride, $11.00 from airport.Friendly staff. Can leave luggage safely if you are early for check in or after checkout.
Street noise very audible with windows open during night.

Though the room was very small as expected, it was well decorated and comfortable. I was on the 5th floor and had an amazing view. Room was quiet, and neighbourhood is exceptional. (Paid) Street parking can be challenging, but can be found with enough patience.
Not a problem for me, but the elevator opens on 1/2 floors and is very small, so anyone travelling with a large suitcase, or who is not very mobile should take this into consideration.

location was good.
not the property as much as my room - directly off reception it was noisy and it smelt of smoke. on day 2 someone took my towels and did not replace them and it took two trips to reception and many hours to get new ones. the shower was the worst I have ever encountered. I have pictures.
