Compared to Japanese standards the rooms were spacious. We did have enough room in the living room to keep our suitcases open. The host was quite responsive. It was great to have a washing machine.
Not sure why but all taps had only warm water, no cold water for eg a shower in the heat. This is though a minimal issue only during the heat. Perhaps would have been helpful if the AC would have been on for a 30 minutes before the check in as the apartment was sweltering hot when we arrived. The AC was quite powerful to cool down the place in an hour or so. Another drying rack for our laundry would have been helpful.
