The staff were extremely nice , shower was really good.

Bed wasn’t comfy and blankets were very small. WiFi randomly stopped working. No service in the area so I couldn’t use my electronics.

Marvellous room, food, service, steampunk

We loved this hotel. We chose here because of its location in the Eifel region, and it being within walking distance of the Ulmen Maar. We had some concerns beforehand, due to the lack of parking nearby, lack of lift and our inability to speak German, but all of these soon evaporated. We parked at the edge of the town square to unload, and the owner then gave us directions to the long stay parking literally 2 minutes walk away. I'd recently injured my knee so thought the stairs might be a bit much, but they seemed to help my recovery. As to the language, we, and the waiting staff, just took it slowly, and everything was fine. The food deserves a special mention as it was exceptional. We ate there the 3 nights we stayed, and each meal was marvellous. Also marvellous was the Steampunk collection.

Licht und Schatten - Preis-Leistung passt nicht

- Personal ist zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich - Zimmer ist geräumig und sauber

- Zimmer war kalt, Heizung hat nur langsam warm gemacht, im Bad war die Heizung an und das Fenster auf, nicht sehr nachhaltig - Frühstücksbereich war eiskalt, selbst mit Pullover hat man noch gefroren, gleichzeitig lässt das Personal im Flurbereich ständig die Abschlusstür auf - Frühstück ist ok, aber mehr auch nicht: kein Buffet, sondern direkt am Tisch eingedeckt, ist prinzipiell in Ordnung. Aber billiger Aufschnitt und Marmelade vom Discounter, Kaffeenachschub nur auf Anfrage, O-Saft aber kein Mineralwasser. Kein frisches Obst, billiger Becherjoghurt, insgesamt wenig Auswahl, immer das gleiche. - Tür zur Küche war ständig auf, so dass permanent die Kochgerüche das Treppenhaus hinauf bis zu den Zimmern gezogen ist. - Preise in der Gaststätte spiegeln nicht die gebotene Qualität wieder. Schnitzel war ok, Bratkartoffeln verdienten den Namen kaum, Zwiebel strohig und teilweise noch roh - Es wird Wein aus dem Discounter (Rotwild 4,50/Fl) für 23 Euro die Flasche verkauft. Das empfinde ich als extrem dreist Der Aufenthalt war nicht wirklich schlecht aber der gewünschte Wohlfühlfaktor hat sich nicht eingestellt. Daher keine Empfehlung.

Top, absolute Empfehlung

Das Personal/Chef unheimlich nett, die Zimmer absolut gemütlich und süß eingerichtet, auch der Stil des Ausbaus der Dachzimmer gefiel mir sehr. Stilvoll, und man merkt sofort die geise Liebe zum Steampunk , überall tolles Ambiente dieser Scrne, einfach super, Essen war auch lecker. Ich komme gerne wieder
