The apartment is in a building located a stone's throw from Praça da Liberdade / Av. dos Aliados, you basically stay right in the center of the city. The building is renovated and in good condition but it doesn't have an elevator, so be prepared for a little bit of effort in case you travel with a big case. We chose this aparthotel twice, before and after our return to Madeira, so ended up staying in two different apartments. Both of them had excellent standards, the bed and the extended couch were comfy, good water pressure in the shower, kitchen well equipped. It is a great choice for people travelling to Porto to enjoy the city and who basically need a cozy place at night. Only needed public transportation to get there from the airport (and back), otherwise everything is at walking distance. The guys running the place are very helpful and friendly, made sure we had everything we needed during our stay and recommended us some good restaurants in Matosinhos.

The bed was so comfortable, and all linens were immaculate. Location was very central and easy to get around from
We were on the 4th floor and no lifts. Parking was very expensive and there was never anyone on reception to ask for recommendations. Some arrangement for discounted parking with directions would gave been great

Location & apt was charming. Bed was comfy.
Bed was comfy too bed the sheet’s laundry detergent was SO powerful. I had a nose bleed & headache in the morning. All the mornings I woke up like this. Floors also smelled strong of cleaner. I re mopped the floors with vinegar to remove the chemical smell of the cleaner. That helped. He told me would I rather have bacteria from previous which the answer is no but there is scent free stuff. It was so toxic in there. I had a constant headache until I cleaned the floors. Black mold in the bathroom which was disgusting. They wanted to change my sheets but they use fragrance everything (it didn’t matter) so if you’re sensitive, find another place. My pajamas snell like the sheets so I have no pajamas to wear bc I can’t get the fragrance out. Trying to wash the scent out but the problem with chemicals is that they stick & I’ll prob throw them away. I’m in another hotel & everything is so clean, the sheets are fresh- no scent. The manager was defending all their products they use. It was painful to stay there for me. Also very loins construction 8-6 building a high rise out your window. Great location but you do climb stairs. Thin walls. Would not stay here again. No ventilation in the hallways so if someone smokes with the door open/ that fills your room inside. Constantly smelled like smoke bc people don’t shut the door.
