Scala Apartment

The room was very spacious, and the bed and couch were both comfortable. We had a shared bathroom but we never came across the other tenant. The owners are specific about being respectful to others/maintaining cleanliness, which was great. We had a kitchen available but we did not need it during our one night stay (only thing unavailable to guests was the stove). It was just a block over from the train station. When the windows were shut, the noise level was barely audible, especially when the AC was in use. We are happy with our stay here!

The only thing that confused us was the doorbell when we first arrived. We were unsure who to ring to let us in. However, we found out the family has apartments on the first three floors so I guess we could’ve rung any of them. Simone is the one who let us in, who was very kind and welcoming.

Staff/ owners were very friendly. The room and bathroom were clean. The apartment is close to the main train station in Florence, and 20 minutes away from the attractions. There is a small supermarket a few minutes away from the apartment and a bag storage next door.

. The room did not have a fridge, espresso machine, or water kettle. However, they left coffee pods, tea bags, and snacks, and the machine was in the kitchen, which was inconvenient.

Good location, 2 mins walking from central train station, reasonable price, excellent help from owner (‘s son)! Restsurants and shops around.

On Booking they mentioned they have Tea maker and Coffee maker But in reality Tea Maker is a Microwave 🤯 And they have a cooker u can't use in a reason of safety 🤔 So to boil water in Microwave is safe and Electric kettle is not 🤔 To use a toilet if u come before check-in is also forbidden because it's not clear and your check-in starts from 14.00 on owner's son words, he made a great favor to me and let me in and leave my luggage at 13.00 - it's very welcoming 🙏 (sarcam) The apartment is very close to the railway station - it's + and - at the same time. There are lot of noise and dirty on a street, and homeless people around, but the center is very close
