we are very happy that we found this place!

The owner welcomed us with a very friendly sincere smile, and we immediately felt at home. The place has a big parking lot. It has amenities in the kitchen. It was easy to make our food as a group. The place is very accessible and near the Basilica of Saint Francis and the church of Mary of the Angels. We have even extended our checkout time and we were able to come back after the 9 o'clock English mass at the Basilica, cooked our food, and had a happy lunch together. We checked out at 1 PM and it was all right because the place was free.

I cannot find fault in the property.

Exceptional

We rented a whole apartment at La Cantina San Martino. Each room had its own bathroom and the kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. The place was clean. The location is excellent, a few minutes drive from the Basilica of Saint Francis. The owner was very friendly and prompt to answer our requests. We would definitely go back if we were to visit the area again.

Great location, great staff, and convenient location

Great location, very close to Assisi and other nearby sites. Hot water does not run out. Decent kitchen. Friendly and helpful staff.

This is not a dislike but just be aware that there are at least two "La Cantina" locations. We first went to the wrong one and luckily, a staff member let us drive behind her car to go to the correct location. Just be aware to get the address of the location you have booked. We just searched it on our iPhone map so that was our mistake.

Very comfortable and felt like home :)

The place was very close to St Francis Basillica, 7 min drive by car! In a very peaceful, quiet location. I really enjoyed it..felt like being at home.

I loved everything and even stayed an extra day because it was so peaceful. I wanted to sleep in late and rest. Most of the hotels I stayed in were loud and had early checkouts so it made it hard to really rest. Here I felt completely comfortable and happy to sleep. Recommendation to have a mini refrigerator and to have dry coffee cream for the coffee cappuccino machine in the room!

Super consigliato

La struttura si trova lungo la strada per raggiungere Assisi ciò la rende molto comoda per visitare la città( 5 minuti in auto). Le camere sono ben tenute e pulite, la notte non si sente nulla, grazie al fatto che la struttura si trova lontana dalla strada. Ottimo anche il parcheggio. Una nota di merito alla simpatica proprietaria, la signora Sabina,ci ha fatto sentire immediatamente accolti,inoltre ci ha dato buoni consigli per visitare la zona.

Sabina è super gentile e disponibile, veramente un ottima padrona di casa. L’appartamento è carino , pulito e dotato di tutti i comfort e il giardino veramente delizioso; i nostri cani hanno amato correre tra gli ulivi tutt’e le mattine appena svegli😊

L’agriturismo La Cantina e’ un’oasi immersa nel verde a due passi da mete imperdibili; la struttura è tenuta meravigliosamente e la Sig.ra Sabina con la sua gentilezza e i preziosi consigli ha reso il nostro soggiorno alla scoperta di Assisi indimenticabile; torneremo sicuramente! Katia & Angie

Soggiorno estremamente piacevole e posizione strategica invidiabile.

Ottima posizione, strategicamente molto vicina ad Assisi. La Sig.ra Sabina è stata molto professionale ed accogliente, disponibile ad assecondare ogni nostra richiesta. La nostra soluzione prevedeva un grazioso appartamento indipendente costituito da due camere matrimoniali, bagni in camera ed un vano cucina condiviso, davvero caratteristico. Ritorneremo sicuramente!

Unica pecca, comunque sopportabile, è che i locali, allo stato, non sono climatizzati ma semplicemente dotati di ventilatori a piantana. Se consideriamo una stagione tipo, la soluzione sarebbe stata più che sufficiente, ma il caldo atipico di quest'anno ne ha reso più evidente l'esigenza. Non l'abbiamo chiesto, espressamente ma abbiamo notato del materiale clima stoccato nel cortile della struttura il che lascia pensare ad una imminente installazione graduale.
