Great location, very comfortable, good staff

Blew my expectations away. Large room, very comfortable, great location. Friendly and helpful staff.

Ok: no lift, so be warned. The room could have had an extra curtain to keep out the light which shone in the courtyard. One curtain wasn’t enough to make the room dark.

The breakfast was okay

Just didn’t like the fact that I have to move to a different room after I have spent two days in that room to a different room all because someone has booked the whole room. The uncomfortable thing is packing your luggage and belongings to downstairs ( the storage room) then wait till you check in another room at 3pm. That was the only annoying thing but apart from that they did well. More room for improvement.

I would like to sincerely thank the entire team for making my stay such a wonderful experience. A special thank you to the manager, Lukhanyo, who is truly exceptional and very hands-on with guests. I’m also grateful to Zintle and Zenande, who were always willing to assist me with a warm smile whenever I needed help. I would also like to acknowledge a restaurant staff member whose name I unfortunately did not get. I know she lives in Bella Belville. Her friendliness and professionalism were outstanding and truly memorable. As a first-time guest, I absolutely loved the aesthetics of the place and the welcoming atmosphere. The staff exceeded my expectations, and the reception team was always happy to assist. I would definitely recommend this place and will certainly be booking again.

One suggestion I would make is to possibly add a fan in one of the dorms, as well as an extra chair, since there was only one available.

Home away from home

this has become my second home when ever I am travelling to Cape Town solo, I love the fact that they made an option of breakfast at a certain amount for those that are staying as opposed to not having breakfast at all and having to order from the restaurant, that is an excellent idea.

I don't have a problem at all however I feel like housekeeping could really do better, although the facilities are clean but having to see strands of hair on the floor that doesn't belong to you is kind of not nice but overall, the room was very clean.

Oops? l slept in Lapa Zar and l was so scared or afraid to sleep with men in one room. I slept by 12:30 because of scaring but it was good to spend my night in Boutique Hostel.

It was a really nice place

The AC of the room weren’t switched on the first two nights. However, a replacement was brought. The good thing about the situation was that Cape Tiwn was cool during those nights. So, no presssure

Those air pods sleep capsules are very conducive to deep sleep.

Extra long beds with thick mattress clean sheets friendly staff plus mindful to disperse minimal guests to make sure all have extra space and privacy. Those air pods sleep capsules are very conducive to deep sleep. The curtains drawn, private bedside pigeon hole slot to power up your devices, storage and reading light. Very cozy and booking soon again..this time with 2 nights so at least can sleep in and get some deep rest.

Would be amazing if the morning orange juice, tea and coffee was kept aside for you until 3pm check in time.

Spacious room, good bed, great location. In general, I thought it was a great place to spend a couple of nights.

Internet connection was not ideal from my room on the second floor. Connectivity would come and go, which required solving some issues at the lobby.

No parking for own vehicle. Which is understandable because it is actually a “backpackers” kind of facility. But the vehicle was safe in the street overnight in front of the building.

The room was clean so was the bathroom, and the location is central and perfect. Hostel is perfect for a few night's stay and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The noise from in-house travelers walking pass the room at late hours in the evening.
