Casa Sotgiu Guest House

Breakfast was good and cute catering presented. When we had to leave for sightseeing before breakfast time, got some breakfast items previous night delivered to our rooms, which was a good solution. It was a clean place in overall. Location also good, walkable to most of the attractions, but in a quiet district. Cristina was friendly, late check out was allowed from one room, which was very positive, we could refresh before traveling home.

No wifi the entire stay (3 nights) due to some issues in the district. No hot water first night, got sorted out for the second night. Noisy air ventilation system in one of the rooms, by switching it off problem was sorted temporarly,but not much air in the room.

It was in a quieter part of Rome but very near the Metro line, which is very easy and cheap to use. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large. Staff were very helpful, both Cristina and Costanza.

The loud noise from upstairs bathroom when the toilet flushed was annoying.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The room and bathroom were both very spacious and clean. The location is excellent and well-connected to public transport. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient.

The room and bathroom were very clean. The Metro Station is very close.

There were no staff onsite. We couldn't even get into the building! We called and called and did not get an answer. It mas my error that I gave them a late afternoon time, initially. But, there was no way to communicate with anyone, that we had arrived. It took us 45 minutes and walking up and down stairs with our luggage to finally locate the Casa Sotgiu office. The building is an office building, not a hotel. Again, there was no one onsite. Need more towels? Toilet clogged? Loud neighbors? There is NO ONE to help you until the next business day. Even your texts will not be returned until the next business day. Add to that, that you are in a very rundown part of the city and it is not a pleasant stay. There was tagging and trash everywhere. You had to walk about 5 to 6 blocks to get into a safer part of town. I'm a City girl. I love the city, but I am smart about staying out of bad neighborhoods, especially as a single woman. I would not walk in this area at night.
