Perfect place for a calm, relaxing stay

Everything was super uncomplicated. We had a pleasant welcome from a cute tortoise in the morning who we adored while having breakfast on the terrace. > The place was clean, private, secure and had everything one needed for their stay. > The location was also optimal for us. We could take a nice walk to the beach or take the bus / Uber to the Zadar city center. Bus line 5A and 8A. There were supermarkets and restaurants directly next to the apartment as well (Rafaelo was quite good but the portions are massive; Mamma Mia was highly recommended by other reviews but it did not match up to the hype for us) > The check-in and Check-out was super uncomplicated. > To reach the place from the airport, we took an Uber because we landed quite late. However, to go back to the airport, we took a bus to Zadar and from there the Shuttle bus to the airport. (We wanted to explore Zadar a bit more on our last day)

These are not negative points, just a personal preference thing and they did not bother us that much: > The blinds on the window do not fully cover, which at first felt uncomfortable for us considering that we were on the ground floor. However, since nobody entered the terrace area and it was fully covered, it was totally okay. > You do hear the other residents quite clearly. People were quite respectful during our stay and it was not an issue for us, however if you are a light sleeper, you might not like it

A lovely week's holiday in Borik Beach Resort

Location was perfect, right by the Mamma Mia restaurant, Tomy supermarket, and a 10 minute walk to Falkensteiner Resort and beach. Our hosts were excellent in their communication. The apartment suited our needs.

Due to the time of year, (May), Zadar was experiencing a lot of rain and thunder storms. This made it difficult to dry clothes and towels. Because of the wet weather, the room (at the back of the property), was cold and damp. The air conditioner didn't work. However, our hosts provided us with clean towels mid week and provided us with a heater.

An overpriced stay

It's a quiet space, not too far drive to the old town.

When we arrived, we phoned the host for the keys, they didn't give any instructions before. And we were disappointed by the size of the room. It looks different than the pictures. It's much darker and smaller. Even with switching on the light, the room is dark. The most disappointing part is there were ants on the floor and they were climbing into the water bowl of our dogs. And that feels very discomfortable. They didn't provide duvets, only some green blankets.

The apartment was perfectly clean and nice decorated and quite big The host was super nice. They kept our luggages after the checkout and help us with the bus information and timetable. A comfortable, clean, spacious 2-bedroom apartment. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, furniture didn't look used. There are actually 2 big balconies which is a pro. It's around 800 meters from Borik beach. A market and restaurants just around the corner. One parking spot for guests, if there's more than one car, one can park in the street. No problems occurred during our stay. A nice and helpful owner. I totally recommend this place.

Einzigartig herzlich!

Our stay at Angie‘s Appartement was an incredible great Time! We Never had such a nice Host ever before!! Angie and her Kids are so heartfull, kind and Lovely! It was really a beautiful experience! We loved the super Sweet Studio Appartement which was very very clean and nice! The furniture was new and very modern; the bed extra Big and comfortable! In each Detail it was possible to See with How much lovely Passion Everything was made. There are Shops and Restaurants in 1-2 minutes Walk; to the Beach You Go 10 minutes or 2 minutes with the bike. The old town of zadar is also not that far away. For us, the Location of the Appartement was great. We really want to say THANK YOU to Angie for all the lovely Moments and the way you treated us! We will also Never forget that you borrowed us your own bikes the whole week! The Service you offer is so Special ; we Love it that there are People like you on this Planet!

Would stay here again

It's a small studio with a large private terrace. The owner was very welcoming and helped to organise a boat trip. She checked back in with the travel agency to make sure that I got picked up. Everything was fine and I felt very comfortable.

Unfortunately the mattress was laid-through and in the shower was nothing to put your shower gel on. Apart from that everything was great.

Nothing, I am so disappointed. Apartment that I booked is not the one from the picture, host gave me another one. I got small apartment. Distance is far away from the beach, and there is no shop near apartment.

Everthing, it was too expensive for small room and it is not apartment that I booked. And apartment is not for two it is just for one person( I booked for 2 persons). The first day I came and the girl(10 years old girl) gave me the keys, the host did not greet me

Apart from lack of air-conditioner in the bedrooms, everything was really nice, the landlady was helpful, the flat was spacious, kitchen was fully equipped, there was no problem with parking a car, the stay was calm and quiet:)

Very welcoming host, good location, quiet surrounding, about 10 minutes walk to sunny beaches and about 30 minutes to the old town. There is a lost of restaurants, market and bakery nearby, we do recommend restaurant Shanghai House. The apartment is spacious, clean and well-equipped, air-condition in the living room and bathroom, but really enough for whole space. We have a really good stay here.
