Le Cloitre du Couvent

The apartment is very unique as it is part of an old convent. The room is very large and filled with beautiful antiques. Michele and Edmond, the hosts, greet you..in fact they came and found us in the large public parking lot where you keep your car during your stay. They serve a lovely breakfast and sit with you and chat.Edmond makes the most delicious jams and Michele is a delightfully engaging woman. The location is excellent for seeing sights around the area. It is an old stone building so it has a musty smell but we were out and about until we came in to sleep. On Monday evenings there is a food truck festival in the parking lot with foods and wine from all over and live music. It was so fun!

Mosquitos in the garden. Everything else was delightful.

Quiet, comfortable, lovely breakfast and a warm host. Easy access to Avignon, with bus stop just 2 mins walk

Full of character and dripping in history. Very comfortable, very peaceful. Very enthusiastic and friendly hosts. On Monday evening, the car park near the property (30s walk) was transformed with the arrival of street food vans - paella, wine, fusion, fish, chips etc. Loved it.

We loved it all.
