Very peculiar place to stay. Great hosts.

Very peculiar place. Great welcome and good breakfast. Comfortable bed.

There was a strange smell coming from the bathroom and at the entrance of the villa. Also I think that autumn unfortunately is not the best place to appreciate the beauty of this place. At night we didn’t have hot water, but luckily the problem was resolved in the morning.

The owner …Michel….greeted us at the door to this amazing spectacular home and property….when we walked inside it was like a museum….and when Michel opened our bedroom door…we were blown away..huge room…mural on the back wall..colourful and a massive bathroom. Outside our sliding door in our room was a massive balcony and backyard with a swimming pool…it was just incredible …but most of all was Michel’s hospitality and personality…he is just so welcoming and charming. Also the property is so close to historic Avignon.

Beautiful hosts who are so happy to help and give you recommendations regarding where to eat, what to see and public transport,etc. We loved that there was a free shuttle bus within walking distance that took us in to the old city and back again. So much to see just in the old town and we did day trips to amazing places which were within an hours drive. Their home is beautiful and full of such amazing things and they ask you to treat it as your home while you are there which is lovely. On our travels through Italy and France this was the most comfortable bed we have slept in with decent pillows and beautiful fresh linen 😌

We stayed downstairs and if you like a bit of bathroom privacy there isn't any as there are screen doors. And beware the mosquitos which seems to be a common theme on our travels through the South of France.

A happy and memorable 7 day stay at Villa Pauline.

Quirky, fun and comfortable house with a lovely garden and pool

Distance from centre ville. However the park and ride and free shuttle bus is not too far away. We used Uber for return journey. Michel and his wife are excellent hosts and they helped us in many ways. Michel recommended great restaurants and organised taxis when required.

Wonderful individual guest house with an exceptional host.

Lovely peaceful location with pool. Very comfortable & artistic suite - the breakfast was excellent & very convivial sitting down with other guests. Michel is an excellent host - he made suggestions & reservations for us - nothing was too much trouble. We just wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back.

The villa was really beautiful, really fun, quirky and interesting all at the same time. We loved it. The rooms are really spacious and clean, the pool area was stunning and it's a great location to explore Avignon and the surrounding areas

Wonderful memorable stay in Avignon

We loved the bed and breakfast concept! It was so lovely having a communal meal. (And it was delicious French breakfast). The pool was fabulous and the hosts are the best! Michel and Christiane go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable. The art in the house is like going to a museum. It’s such a unique and memorable place. There’s a free shuttle to town close by that runs until 8pm, but the walk is also not bad at all if you don’t mind a bit of exercise.

It’s a teeny bit far from the historic center, but if you’re up for a good walk then it should be no problem!

Charming property with wonderful hosts

Christianne and Michel were lovely hosts who gave us lots of information about the sights and restaurants . A charming property with beautiful pool .

We didn’t think it was clear or we misunderstood that the property is not walkable into the town. However , it was a 15 minute walk to a free shuttle bus from local car park which ran very regularly so was very easy .

Great stay.

Our hosts Michel & Christian Peron were lovely. We had a great continental breakfast everyday. Loved the eggs thy cooked to your preference. Nice garage that allows for parking your car. Rooms are up a flight of stairs. Nearby to shopping - Aushoppimg about 10 mins away is a great stop for your shopping needs. Including supermarket

Interesting place to stay

Villa Pauline has a unique atmosphere given the way it is designed and decorated. Lovely style. The hosts are very friendly and informed us about the city and dinner suggestions. The breakfast was prepared by them in the morning so you feel a personal touch. Room and especially bathroom is very spacious, it is also very quiet to sleep at night with an open window.

The area around the pool was not cleaned at that time and I assume there are some unfinished works still to do. This did not bother us, however should we stay more days would be more enjoyable with organized surroundings. :)

A wonderful stay in a gorgeous art filled home. A real treat!

This is a very unique property. A beautiful home decorated and filled with fantastic art made by the host. Out in a quiet neighborhood, but only a few minutes away from everything by taxi. The host was very nice and even took us to the train station at the end of our stay. We really enjoyed meeting them and the other guests staying there. It felt like visiting friends. Really special.

We loved our stay at the beautiful home of Michel and Christiane. Rooms are large, clean, comfortable and decorated in eclectic style. Breakfast is delicious and the hosts very kind and welcoming. We used a nearby free car park and shuttle bus to get to and from the centre of Avignon.

We arrived as guests and left as friends

Michel is a perfect host. He recommended an excellent restaurant and things to visit around the area. The breakfast was lovely, sitting on the terrace chatting with the other guests was wonderful. Michel's love of art was apparent throughout the villa with whacky additions to amuse.

Fantastic - highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

What a fantastic find - although they have only been taking bookings for a couple of months, Michel and Christianne were the perfect hosts. Engaging and helpful - Michel even gave us a lift into town one day. A perfect oasis so close to wonderful Avignon - the pool was so good after a day of walking. And the artwork - brilliant! We will be back.

Experience this beautiful Villa filled with Art and the hospitality of the perfect hosts

The hospitality and the help we received from Michel and and Christianne was incredible. For four glorious days we were immersed in their story, their incredible art in every room and the beautiful Villa and swimming pool. When the large driveway door slid back you entered a place of peace and tranquility. As we arrived Michel offered us a glass of homemade lemonade and not only booked a restaurant but first night took us there! Not so much a Maison d'hotes but a whole experience.

Two safety points. The stairs to the villa are wide and steep and need a rail. Especially important if you have older or disabled guests. is a sheer drop from the terrace to the swimming pool area . There is a palm tree which to some extent guards this but some type of artistic guard rail would be good

Stylish villa close to Avignon historic centre

Villa Pauline is only a 15-20m walk from the historic centre of Avignon and yet one feels like in full nature. It’s a beautiful villa with a great pool and exterior to relax. The room was very spacious and elegantly decorated. Christian and Michel are fantastic hosts and they ensure you feel comfortable and you have everything to have a super pleasant stay. Highly recommend.

The hosts we’re extremely friendly and helpful, couldn’t be nicer! Rooms are big and comfortable. Breakfast basic but good. Beautiful art pieces all over.

A little bit outside of the center but easily to reach by bike! Poolarea and seats and garden could be a bit cleaner. A very good place to stay over-all but a bit pricy for what you get, according to us.

Wonderful stay

One of the most wonderful stay! The large and styled room is decorated with Chinese paintings and Buddha statue and the swimming pool in the garden makes everything chill and quaint. Michel and Chris welcomes us with handmade lemonade and really makes us feel like home. It’s also wonderful to take a 12-minute morning walk to center.

Exceptional B&B with exceptional hosts

Villa Pauline is quite exceptional - not only because of the beautifully designed house itself but also (and perhaps even more) because of the wonderful hosts, Christiane and Michel. The house is situated outside of Avignon‘s city centre and a perfect starting point for day trips all over the Provence as well as strolls to the city itself. Our room was spacious and, like the rest of the house, decorated with a wonderfully wild creativity that combines style and humour. We loved every single corner! The pool is great as well after a day in the region or to simply relax for a whole day. What we loved most about Villa Pauline, however, where the lovely hosts Christiane and Michel who add so much heart and love to everything: Be it the exceptional French breakfast on the sunny terrace, tips for restaurants and trips or simply (and perhaps most important) the little chats here and there that made our stay feel like a family vacation. We hope to come again!

Wonderful

Michel & Christian (the owners) are exceptional. They are kind, attentive, funny and they ensure sure you have a comfortable stay. They welcomed us with homemade lemonade and throughout the stay we felt at home and as if we were visiting family member. Pros: 1. The place is tastefully decorated 2. The garden and the pool are serene and you can here the sound of crickets 3. The breakfast is tasty and is served with taste and elegance

It’s a wonderful place! Comfortable, chic , beautiful swimming pool, our room had all the confort and beauty as we saw at the site. The house it’s very very close to Avignon center 5 min on bike and the most important!!!! The sympathy of the owners makes you feel at home , we will be back 😍
