I had the absolute BEST time ar Kadolana guest house in mirissa. The location is PERFECT. Near the beach and the hotspots but in a very quite street so you don’t hear a lot of noise and see a lot of animals like beautiful birds and monkeys. The host is THE SWEETEST MAN and makes the best breakfast I’ve had in Sri lanka. I LOVED IT

Very clean nice room and a good location near the beach.
Gates close at the property without being told this, so when we come to having to leave very early in the morning we didn’t know about this.

When you get off the bus at Udupila Road (coming from Galle) take the very first left after the little river and follow the path right next to the river. It may not look like a road but it is. Place was comfortable and surrounded by wildlife (despite the black river). Monkeys came to our balcony and we saw water monitors and squirrels. Nice breakfast. Short 200 metres walk to the beach. A quite solitude in the jungle but plenty of restaurants and shops just 200 metres away.

This was a lovely property just a 5 minute walk from Mirissa Beach. The owners were so kind and we had a delicious breakfast in the morning for only 900 LKR each. The room was very clean with both air conditioning, fans and mosquito nets and their garden - which you could see from the guest house terrace - was gorgeous.
It was reached by a small unlit path alongside a canal which is good to be aware of if travelling solo.
