Daasa Guest Mirissa

Spacious room & balcony. Comfortable bed with AC & hot water. Jayan the host is great. He kindly offered to pick us up & drop us off in his tuk tuk at the bus stations in Mirissa. Breakfast was good. Location is ideal as it’s a 15-20min walk away from either side of Mirissa. Close walking distance to the beach, spa & restaurants. Best value for money in the Mirissa area. Would recommend.

The property is on a hill which was why it was great that Jayan was able to pick us up / drop us off in his tuk tuk as carrying our bags up & down the hill would be tiring. Walking to & from the property without luggage was fine but something to bare in mind.

Daasa guest house was the perfect place for us in Mirissa. The family were lovely and we were treated wonderfully. Breakfast on the veranda watching the monkies in the trees was fantastic. It was a very peaceful stay. Thank you 😊

Everything was great. There is a relatively steep hill to get to the house but aside from that there's nothing to mention.

We had the best time during our stay here, it could not have been better. Jayan and his family were so kind, welcoming and helpful. Jayan offered to pick us up from the train station and helped us when our tuk tuk broke down - he is the best person! The house is in a beautiful location with green trees around the terrace and lots of monkeys in the morning. Breakfast each morning was amazing. It was delicious with always new fruit, eggs, Sri Lankan sweet treats. It is a walk up a hill to get to but only a few minutes from the Main Street and entrance to Mirissa beach and parrot rock. The room was comfortable and clean. We can’t get over how great value for money it was as well! Super affordable and such a perfect base for Mirissa and surrounding towns. Thank you again, Jayan! 🤗

Jayan and his family have been fantastic hosts.. The property is located less than a 5 minute walk off the main strip of mirissa, which is there perfect distance to get a little insulation from road/restaurant noise. A dreamy location within the jungle where you might be lucky enough to encounter all sorts of wildlife (monkeys, birds, weasel, etc..)
