Both women in this guest house were very friendly and helpful. Around 15 mins walk to the beach. Room nice and spacious. There is also a sitting area outside the rooms and a kitchen that can be used to cook, plus a fridge.

For the budget price, the room was sparse but satisfactory and the aircon worked well. However, I did not end up staying at this hotel, see below.
I was set to have a no nonsense no frills stay here until I tried to connect to the wifi. It didn't connect, although the wifi rated 9.5 on Booking.com. Apparently, it was broken. The caretaker called the owner who called the telecommunications company. They said someone would come out to fix the issue. Yeah, sure. A government agency coming immediately on a Sunday to fix a connection problem? Not a chance. So I cancelled the stay and moved to another cheap place down the road that actually had a wifi connection.
