Deepika offers everything you need for a comfortable stay and great location. This is our second visit to Sri Lanka and we chose Deepika again for their exceptional hospitality. The staff are welcoming, caring and attend to every of our request. The staff carried our luggage in and out of our rooms. There is water available outside the room for drinking ( No need to buy water ) . Hot shower with good water pressure, toiletries (toilet rolls, shower gel, shampoo, soap and conditioner), electric kettle, coffee and tea, plate and cups, small fridge, aircon, fan and WiFi are available in the room. Some rooms has TV and most rooms has mosquito nets for the bed. There are racks to hang dry our laundry outside the room. The host can arrange whale watching for you which we did during our first stay with them. Rathna also help us to provide information and recommendation for our next destination. Nice swim in the pool and there is shower and washroom next to the pool too which is added convenience for guests. You can also wash off the sand from your body at the entrance of the property after visiting the beach. We had very good breakfast every morning and the property is walking distance to parrot rock, turtle beach, Mirissa beach and coconut hill. We did snorkelling at 8am at turtle beach and manage to see few turtles. You can rent snorkelling equipments and life jackets at the beach too. Great shopping and restaurants with lots of options along the street. Entrance to the beach is just in front of the property. Property is by the road. Easy access to public transport. Weligama is just 20 min away by tuk tuk for about 650 rupees. We tried surfing for beginners there. The waves are small and continuous with flat sand and water was waist height deep. Very suitable for first time surfing who are non-swimmers. Stay here for fews nights and there are a lot of activities and shopping you can walk to nearby.
