Great breakfast and quiet location

This guesthouse is above a restaurant on the edge of town--it feels a bit like you're in an industrial area. But, this also means it is very quiet! The room is at the top of a lot of stairs, and the room was quite small so we didn't have a lot of space for our luggage. The bathroom was quite spacious however. The highlight of our stay was the lovely breakfast served in the restaurant's dining room with hot food and great coffee.

The mattresses on the beds were fairly old and could stand to be replaced. Getting to the rooms means walking up a lot of stairs--something to keep in mind if you have an injury or find climbing stairs to be difficult.

Quaint, friendly hospitality with quality meals.

The guesthouse is a throw back to the past. It was very quaint and comfortable. Public transport is at the doorstep and the owner is happy to loan bikes free of charge for a short ride into Mosta Soci or a longer (around 7km) ride into Tolmin and then up to the Tolmin Gorges. Meals were awesome value and very tasty. Definitely try the trout!

Good cozy hotel with on-site restaurant, good food for democratic prices there. Good food, nice people, location in quiet small city.

Great accommodation for a very reasonable price

Absolutely amazing staff, very helpful and very accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was made to order, fresh and healthy as part of the booking. I also really liked the restaurant and tasty meals we had for dinner. Room was small but had all the things needed for our stay, including AC, wardrobes and bathroom. Even though our window was facing the nearby train station, there was no noise.

Wonderfully friendly hotel with a very kind host

This is a family run hotel in a very convenient location for the railway station (and bus to Tolmin). The host is amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate us and answer all our questions. We very much enjoyed the homecooked food at dinner and breakfast. The nut studli with walnut ice cream was the best!

A peaceful and welcoming stay with great food, friendly service, and everything just as expected.

The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was genuinely excellent—fresh and full of flavour. The room matched the photos and met expectations: clean, comfortable, and just as described. Parking on-site made things easy, and the sunny courtyard was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

The location is a bit off the beaten path, so it might not suit those looking to explore nearby towns easily. That said, it wasn’t an issue for us as we were happy staying put and enjoying the peace and quiet.

Dissapointing.

The location is very good, opposite the railway station.

I have visited this place many times over the past 20-30 years. This time we had problems. I now have very strict dietary restrictions and these could not be met in the restaurant in the evening. The breakfast was great, buffet stye, eat as little as you can; so no wasted food.

Great hospitality.

We liked our stay at Pri Stefanu. Nice breakfast included. The staff were very nice and helpful. We had a flat tyre and the owner got his son to come and help us changing the flat tyre. We very much appreciated that.

Nothing we did not like. We'd stay there again.

Very good

It's a pretty good accomodation for tourist, who wants to do outdoor activities. It's not a luxury hotel, but contains everything what we need. The hotel has own restaurant, the chef is very talented, what i tried was very-very delicious!!! It's worth to taste the local foods. The waiter, who was at the reception too, was very helpful, friendly, professional at his work.

The room was small, but it's enough for 1 person. For breakfast there was not enough fruits and vegetables, but i could get hot meal (eggs or pancakes)… it was a pretty good compensation.

The family run hotel makes you feel part of the family, you come home at the end of the day. Super friendly people. For railway fans one of the best locations (if not the best) to spend your night (located next to the railway station). That makes it also a great location for hikers who come by train.

It was small hotel middle of nowhere . Initially we ware bit sceptic , but the staff was superb . The star of the hotel was the restaurant. Really nice food with reasonable pries. The room was clean and had a large bathroom attached . We stayed only one night , may be next time we would like to stay some more days.

The location is bit remote also there is a train station behind the hotel (it looks no trains stop there ) . I do not mind this .

The staff was very friendly, he explained everything and the airco was already running (which was needed!). it had a silent mode which made it also during the night comfortable. Breakfast was good! Besides the general cold things we were offered eggs in any way we liked it.

The shower curtain was a bit colored at the bottom, could use a new one. The location was next to the train station which wasn't a problem, but made the surrounding of the hotel a bit industrial.

the location is perfect for visiting the whole Soča valley, there is also a parking available in front of the restaurant. the staff was very kind, I couldn't have asked for more kindness. the free breakfast was super. the room price was good too. wifi worked well and the small room at second floor was confortable and very clean. I reserved for only one night but I asked for the second night because I felt good there.

there weren't enough power sockets near the bed (or plugged the fridge, or lamp, or cell phone). a bad smell came from the toilet. if people gather in the living room on the second floor it is impossible to sleep because there is a lot of noise.. I informed the owner about that.

My friend and I loved our stay in Most na Soči and would definitely recommend this place!

The rooms have their own bathrooms but there's a comfy shared area where people come together and talk or watch TV. The host is extremely nice and will make everything possible. We stayed here during a rainy day and the meals were fantastic. A big and delicious breakfast is included. The accommodation is located next to the train station but a 15min-walk from the centre. Perfect when you're doing Juliana Trail.

Unfortunately, the bathroom smelled a little awkward the whole time and the sink didn't seem to work properly but for 1 night this wasn't an issue.

Good Room. Friendly Staff. Delicious Food.

Really friendly, helpful and professional staff. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh egg variations made to order and also freshly made pancakes. The quality of all meals, including dinner, was above expectation. Totally recommend it for a stop over in the Soča river area.

Eenvoudige locatie voor een goede prijs. Je kunt er goed eten op het terras.

Locatie is wat achteraf, geen mooi uitzicht (misschien vanuit de serre, maar niet vanaf het terras). In dorpje Most na Soci (enkele km's verderop) is ook niet veel te beleven, behalve dat de meren erg mooi zijn als de zon erop schijnt. Inrichting is gedateerd. Gastheer kwam in eerste instantie wat stug over. Hij werd vriendelijker toen wij er 's avonds hadden gegeten.
