Pleasant experience

We made a short stop there on our way south. Everything was as it should be — a perfect location for a long walk to Lindau Insel. Good breakfast and kind staff.

This hotel looks much better from the pictures on booking than what it is when you arrive in person

The breakfast was poor and very average

The entrance of the hotel was very bad state of maintenance, there was no elevator to reach the upper floors. I had asked for a peaceful room at higher floor and after getting confirmation from the hotel that my request was approved , I got a room at lower floor on the road side instead

Very decent rooms. Mediocre breakfast

The room was excellent. Spacious and clean.

The rest of the building is relatively old and in need of a renovation but the important part is the room which was more than ok. The staff is polite but somewhat cold and the breakfast was sadly not good.

No COLD water in breakfast room. My wife went to kitchen to ask water. A man showed to washing machine to pick up a glass and showed to a sink to pour water in. I wanded HOT water but did not want to go to kitchen. So, I we had breakfast without water.

It was 32 degrees hot (August, obviously), and there was no air conditioning or fan ventilation in the rooms, but closer to the evening, it was getting cooler in the rooms.

Very comfortable 2-room apartment, 3rd floor, well-furnished, large medium-hard beds, all very clean, well-furnished rooms, windows and small balcony makes the room very light and well-drafted, quiet surroundings and close proximity to the lake, and THE FRIDGE :), small but very useful, we loved the place, very good breakfast (missing veggies and greens though), bottles of water in the rooms

no kettle in the rooms, and no veggies for breakfast, other than that - fantastic

Very Comfortable

The room is quite big and spacious, and the beds were of genuinely good (queen) size. Both the rooms had separate TVs and excellent silent acoustics. Although the hotel is about a 5 min drive from the city centre, it was not a problem for us since we were driving. The free parking was appreciated since this is quite uncommon to find in Germany. The hotel is right at the Austrian border, with an excellent restaurant in the same building and a Pizza/Doner shop close by. The Lindau Shopping Centre is also not too far, with good food choices.

Seeing no Coffee Machine or even a Kettle in the room was disappointing. Also, the glass door of the toilet was semi-transparent, which was quite strange, since it was right opposite the toilet seat. Another issue was that the breakfast on day-1 of our stay ran out very quickly. We had to wait for about an hour for the milk to arrive, and the kids could then have their cereals. Overall breakfast choices were quite OK and as expected.

lovely clean rooms, newly renovated and a comfy bed. we had lots of space in the family room which was actually two rooms so could spread out as a young family of 4. good breakfast included and lovely restaurant that was busy every night.

The staff (the son) was really friendly, understanding and really good behaved. the room was awesome. my two girls had one room and adjacent we had ours. they even closed the door so that they can feel independent.

I think the fresh food Sortiments (especially the deli meats) should have been fresh. But no complaints! we still ate like kings!
