The location, price and beautiful stay was above and beyond what we expected. We had our own car so 10 minutes outside of the Walls was perfect for us. We had one full day stay on our way from Lagos to Porto but wished we had longer. Not just to explore Obidos more but to stay and feel the peaceful tranquility of this property. The owner works non-stop to keep her business thriving. She is a gem and I wish I asked her name. She has a good soul and a beautiful smile.
The reception area and rooms reminded me of weekends at my Grandmas (even tho I'm sure the owner is quite a bit younger than my 61 years). The place and rooms have old school decor with modern cleanliness. I could tell she takes pride in keeping the hotel immaculately clean. I kid you not. 🙂🤜🤛🤗🫶

Room was clean and comfortable, hostess (owner?) was very sweet and the facility was attractive.
The lobby has a strong mildew smell (not in the bedroom though), and there does not seem to be any insulation in the walls so we could hear our neighbor turning light switches on and off and going to the bathroom.
