Great position, nice bathroom, but needs more tlc to be really pleasant and comfortable.

The breakfast, the bathroom, the bed and pleasant staff. It’s really a cafe /bar with a few bedrooms above. In a really good central position.

The place was rather tatty and the decor felt a bit student-like. There was not enough attention to detail - cracks in the plaster, rather draconian notices about losing your keys and the fines you would incur, radiators nor put on in advance so one of our rooms took a day or so to warm up. Nowhere to put a suitcase and rather tight space. This could be a really great little place with a bit more care and attention!

Nice room spoilt by a heatwave and cooling options weren't sufficient.

The nicest bathroom on our trip with a great walk in shower. Big bed. Good location, easy to walk around town from here.

There was a heatwave during our stay and the lack of air con made the room like an oven. There was a fan, but you couldn't open the windows very far. The staff kindly gave us ice to take to our room. There was a noisy restaurant next door that was very close and we couldn't close the windows due to the heat. Very steep steps to the 2nd floor and no lift. Fine for us, but wouldn't be good for those with mobility issues.

Very nice stay, I would love to go there again. Only inconvenient thing is the breakfast that is not served before 8h30.

Very beautiful room, animated area but quite at the same time once we close the windows, parking close by ( only 3 mn walking). Comfortable room and clean

There was no lift and steep stairs. One of the beds was not super comfortable. There was very little storage.

Breda is more interesting than you might think

This hotel is in easy walking distance of the town centre, and walking to the station when I left was easy. Arriving, it had been pouring with rain and I took a taxi, also simple. Breda is a delightful town, compact and easy to navigate around. After I booked, they let me know that they had a downstairs booking for a party that would go on till late on my last night. So I added a night to my stay in Amsterdam. This earned them a lot of brownie points!

The town museum was closed, apparently opening the day I left but I didn't have time to investigate. I will be back to see it!

we booked last minute as we’re so impressed that it certainly lived up to its rating unlike our previous accommodation. the staff were all so lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one.

The location was fabulous. Sat outside for dinner and breakfast, excellent food!

Checking in was so easy. Aileen, greeted us and offered a welcome drink immediately prior to checking in. I think she sensed we were tired. After the drink, check in went smooth and easy.

The stay was pleasant enough but it's not a boutique hotel. It's restaurant / bar with rooms.

The room was nice and modern. The bar was nice.

Overall it was clean, though there was a hair and some dust between the decorative pillow and the pillows on my bed. The stairs from the bar to the rooms are very steep and there are bleach stains on the dark grey carpet. The stairs and hall way were more like a hostel, not a boutique hotel. I would have been happy with the description that it's a restaurant / bar with rooms rather than a hotel.
