Amazing Hotel with amazing staff!

Very nice hotel in a nice set up. Rooms, and the entire hotel, are super clean, in a nice way decorated, with big rooms. Breakfast is good enough to cover our needs and wishes. What is outstanding as the stuff, very helpful, very kind. Also, it is actually in five minutes walking from the city centre.

Not related to the Hotel, Google get you to the wrong gate in their maps, it’s on the other side.

Excellent. i would love to come back again

Great place. I understand it is a training hotel and the staff were very attentive and pleasant. The building has a lot of history and the conversion has been done really well.

The scrambeld eggs were overcooked. At check out there were a lot of students behind the desk wich some guests might find strange - but they were very attentive and I understand they are there to learn.

A wonderful learning experience

Personal attention of the staff (all students!). We asked for a water cooker for our late evening, bedtime tea. When we returned from our theater play, it was there!

Some clumsy things, no towel rack in the bathroom for the towel in use. Breakfast: Soft boiled egg with running white. Muesli was all dried fruit, with hardly any cereal. Unclear where hotel parking is situated for overnight.

Instructive

Beautiful property Very nice and clean rooms

I understand (and knew before) that this is a HOTEL SCHOOL training facility. But I was surprised to be given wrong information with regards to crucial information like check-in time and 0 flexibility with regards to trying to resolve the problem (we came straight from the airport, too early to get our rooms but we’re also not given the option of a room to freshen up and get changed before going to our fancy dress event). I have been in this situation more often in ‘real’ hotels and staff always moved heaven and earth to find a solution. Here there was just a hard wall. This is intended as constructive criticism and hopefully management/teachers will read this review and address it in lessons/instructions so the next person that comes around at 12:30 is given one of the rooms that already have been cleaned ;-)

A pleasant experience to stay in Breda

A historical but renovated facility where tourism students provide wonderful service. You can go there even just to stay here and relax for a few days. We loved it.

There are roadworks outside the facility but they will be finished soon.

Beautiful, historic building and classy room, spacious and with bathtub and desk. Simple but high quality breakfast

No airco in the room, very hot and stuffy. But could order a fan which helped.

The building is very beautiful with all staff and management was very helpfull to check in with English. The room itself very clean and awesome. Around the hotel there is so much food shop and the locations can be reached by buss from Breda Central Station

The breakfast was very good and reasonably priced.

After 6pm the gate to the town was closed and this meant a five minute detour. The hotel signage from the main road is not clear. The word 'school' is prominent but the word 'hotel' is not.

Best hotel we have stayed in in a long time!

This hotel exceeded all our expectations - it is good value, exceptionally clean with great facilities, the staff are amazing and so helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. We particularly liked the history of the building and how well it has been adapted as a hotel, and discovering it was an 'eduction' hotel added to our experience - all the student staff were so friendly and attentive, and it was really interesting observing them being taught all the necessary skills required for hotel management.

The site is really nice and beautiful. Perfectly located, at walking distance from the city centre. Everyone is really smiley and welcoming. The room and all the hotel were super clean.

Staff was really nice. But as they are young people being trained, of course it cannot be perfect. They can lack self confidence in contact with clients. This is of course something I expected and that is totally understandable. But i must be fair in the rating and cannot give the highest note on this. Just so visitors dont expect the same level of service and confidence than other hotels. A small detail also, there was no hair dryer in the room/bathroom. It would be really nice to have one ;-)
