Great value, would stay again

En route location for an overnight stay. Staff extremely attentive and kind. Room temperature easy to adjust. Good shower (pressure and temperature), even offered liquid soap which was not expected. Bed was clean and comfortable. Quiet, calm and restoring sleep. Breakfast was excellent. Had a vast assortment of bread, yogurt with cereals, etc. in site parking offered for the security we needed as we left the car fully loaded with our belongings.

Room floor could do with some vacuum. Room is a bit outdated. The fruit served sliced in a bowl at breakfast did not look fresh.

cheap and cheerdful apart from the strange smell

Cost. Always reasonably priced and breakfast good value for money. Next door to the Cree which is a great seafood restaurant so we leave the car in the hotel car park and walk there for dinner. would recommend that if you like seafood.

Strange smell in reception and stairwell. Stair carpet needs replacing as is definitlely looking manky. Apart from that the hotel is fine.

Location not good..sandwiched between 2 main roads and a petrol station/truck stop on another side. Room was smallest we have been given on our 8 stop tour. Breakfast poor - no cold meat / cheese as normal for continental breakfast !

Rooms are not as soundproof as I would have liked. I could hear the occupants of the adjoining rooms. The plug sockets are nowhere near the mirror so not ideal for drying hair.
