Perfectly convenient as a stop over if all you need is a bed for the night. Breakfast was simple but nice.

My first experience of an unstaffed hotel. We arrived late and with only basic French which made accessing the car park and checking in a challenge. Details on codes and how to enter were only sent by the hotel by email a couple of hours before we arrived so I did not spot them. Others were also in the car park, confused on what to do. The car park was not secure. I had hoped to leave a car with bikes on the back but when I saw a stranger walking round my car I had to move the bikes into the very small hotel room. The location is very industrial. I had hoped to visit the pretty parts of Chartres but we were too far out. The only choice of food in the area were American-style diners.

Good basic facilities, wrong hotel.

The hotel was good all round BUT

I I booked into another BnB hotel near the cathedral and they moved me to one on the outskirts where the advertised rate was €69, well below what I paid Bookings.com including their discount. (See photo)

Overall performance of the non existent staff and cleanliness of the corridors really poor

No phone signal so no option to get into hotel. After an hour and a half we were able to get in as we finally got a signal. The hotel wasn’t particularly nice inside dirty corridors. Once inside the room we decided that it wasn’t for us and would rather forgot the money. We book a further hotel via booking.vom which was fantastic. My family were due to stay at this hotel on their way through France and we advised them to cancel which they did.

It did the job for what we needed but for the price we paid it wasn't worth what we got.

Self service check in was useful so we didn't see the staff however he did wave and say hello as we passed later that evening. The beds were comfortable.

The size the rooms were quite small for the price, the shower wasn't the cleanest and was quite small and the room doors from the hallway didn't close correctly and let alot of sight and light through.

Ideally situated.

We have stayed before, but several years ago now. It is ideally situated for the route we use, with a restaurant close by. The local Aldi is being rebuild. A five minute drive from the Cathedral. We were given a room on the ground floor, due to my mobility issues. No road noise either.

The bathroom could do with a little tidy. The mastic is black in places.

Ideal stopover place

This is a great hotel to use as a stop over on our way back to the UK. It's clean and really comfortable. I always get a really good sleep when I stay here. The rooms are quiet, you can't hear other people and the beds are comfortable.

Very good

Ideal for late night stop on the way to Spain. No staff on duty but access to room was easy. Secure car parking. Room was basic but very nice large, comfortable bed. No coffee or tea making facilities in room but vending machine in foyer. Bathroom small but sufficient. Continental breakfast available. English speaking staff
