Budget Tourist Hotel. Basic but friendly Receptionist

Budget hotel where again the Reception staff made it. He was friendly and very helpful. 5pm check is a bit late. Kindly let us store our bicycles inside. Was close to Centre for us to bike in and out

Shower cubicle very small. Not much bigger than our camper van. 6 ft 4 in husband had difficulty using. Came back and found room door open. Door stuck part way and staff had not pulled shut. Lock also broke on the door.

Single beds, good lock on tbe door

No airco in the room, only one towel for each person > how do you take a shower at night, brush your teeth and wash you face in the morning with only one towel? Not hygienic and simply gross, so just provide customers with a small and a big towel.

As always, great value and exactly as expected

I always stay here when possible on my way to and from my holiday home. Always exactly what you expect and require on your overnight stay.

Pretty happy with everything. I think they have got it just right for an overnight stay. I always have trouble finding it even though I've been there many times as my TomTomleads to what appears to be an industrial estate.

Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast for a decent price.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable with additional pillows as requested (thank you). The man on reception was very nice and breakfast was good too. A good place for a stopover en route. If you didn't want to eat there then there's a restaurant nearby.

It was as expected . nice staff and great for walking the dog, request for ground floor room was not a problem.

Excellent value and will use again

This was my 4th stay here and it is niow my go to place to stay overnight when travelling down through France. I've always found the staff very friendly and welcoming, the beds comfortable and the breakfasts very good value.

I know it can't be changed but it is not the easiest place to find. My Tomtom always has trouble finding it. On this particular occasion,the TV remote was faulty and I could only change channels in one direction and also the volume control didn't work.

Friendly staff, free parking and a hearty breakfast

Plenty of parking available for our car and trailer. Loved the good natured welcome and banter from the friendly English speaking man working on reception. Conveniently no stairs to the rooms and after a long drive the 30 minute direct route from the motel into the town centre was much needed to stretch our legs. Functional Breakfast room/restaurant with a good selection of breakfast items including, fruit juice, fresh coffee, cereals, yogurt, dry fruit, breads, cheese, ham. The inclusion of a DIY ‘egg boiler’ was a nice addition if you like to start the day with an egg!

We had to rehang part of the curtain in our room that had fallen off its hooks in order to exclude light. But the worst thing was being kept awake by an irregular but never ending squeaking sound. It had a similar effect to the torture technique of a dripping tap. Being driven to despair we eventually traced it to the extractor fan in the en-suite which was being triggered by a draft from outside. It was a windy night and with nothing that we could do to stop it in the dead of night, the only solution was to use our pillows as mufflers over our ears. Not the most restful of nights!

people came in the middle of the night screaming and knocking our door and we have no idea what is happening. when we called the reception which he already went home, he started to investigate us and asking questions instead of coming to see the gang who are screaming in the corridor and knocking doors or at least explain what is happening. it was one of the worst experiences i had.

Paid for "Very good breakfast included" as per Booking.com only to find in the morning there was very limited choice of food, no hot food at all. Even no hot water in the flask which I needed to request to boil. There were little croissants (petit 5 cm long). When I went to take another one the lady from reception who overlooked kitchen as well took it off my hand telling that only one croissant per customer. Ridiculous customer service. Never again any booking in this hotel.

Dissapointed

We ordered 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an interconecting door which was called a family room and when we arrived it wad one room and one bathroom with a double bed and 2 single beds which was very crowded and didnt give our 2 grandaugters aged 14 any privacy,we complained and the lady on reception was very helpfull and we were offered 2 seperate rooms but we were not happy with our grandaughters being in a bedroom away from us which is why we booked this bedroom layout so we were very Disapointed and we had payed for the 2 bedrooms.
