This was best accommodation on our tour of Tuscany

It was far enough out of town to feel rural, but close enough to walk (25 minutes) or drive (5 minutes) into town. The room was immaculate and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and the pool was great for cooling off from the hot sun. Deckchairs and sun loungers by the pool. The coast was only 10-15 minutes by car.

The room didn't have a refrigerator (but we were able to put drinks in the refrigerator in the kitchen)

I could have stayed forever!

My partner and I had a lovely relaxing break, the location and the room were perfect. Chiara and her team are delightful and I would have happily stayed longer than our week.

Was our first but certainly not our last visit to Pive Degli Artitisti. The room, house, swimmingpool where fantastic. But we are going to miss the most are the breakfast and the warm welcome we had from the staff they where outstanding!

Beautiful small B&B a few miles from historic town center and close to the beaches

The location is on a side road a few miles from Pietrasanta city center. You can walk to a nearby church, where a steep hiking trail goes up a mountain past hillside olive groves and small houses. Pietrasanta is a beautiful town with many restaurants, historic sites and upscale shops, plus the beaches are only a few miles farther. The B&B is a converted house and the conversion was done tastefully; believe there are three guest rooms. Our room was large and beautiful, with a window overlooking the pool. The bathroom was spacious as well. The pool and back yard are small but very nice, with plantings and a wall forming the border. In one direction, you can see a small town on a mountaintop in the distance. I swam multiple times during our three-night stay. The breakfast hostess was very nice, and they kindly let me keep a few items in the refrigerator during our visit. Breakfast was served outside in a lovely sitting area during our stay (late October). It's a very informal place, which I like.

The breakfast was below average for such a nice establishment, and on the last day (a Monday) there was no yogurt, bread, eggs, etc. (The town with stores is only two or three miles away so this could be rectified with a little effort). Due to its quaintness you can hear noise at times from other quests, visitors and whoever else lives in the house (the owner and others, perhaps). No maps or printed information were available of the area, which would have been helpful to explore the surroundings in a more efficient manner. You are on your own for parking (no on-site parking). It's a narrow but not busy dead-end road so you should be able to find a spot, perhaps around the corner in a small field (which is where we parked). In general, the staff could be more communicative.

Great place to spend your time.

Nice location. The pool was nice, the bedroom fantastic. From here we visited Pisa, Lucca and Pietrasanta. Also the trip to Cinque Terre was nice, although the best way to travel to the 5 villages is with the train starting from La Spezia. Owner Chiara bakes delicious cakes!

Chiara, the owner, smokes al lot. We are non smokers, and did not like the smell in the living room and the porch. It is almost impossible to use internet, no reach from the provider, wifi did not work. In the week we were there most quests wanted to start breakfast a 8.00 am. The buffet was almost complete, but Chiara arrived every day at 8.20 with the normal bread.

A perfect holiday, ruined

Pieve is a beautiful villa in a quiet location, with clean, tasteful rooms, lovely views of the hills, king size bed, generous breakfast, cute pool and gardens, very friendly staff (Giulia was so amazing). it would have been idyllic except….

on the second night there for her friends (not staying at the villa), with loud music, shouting, singing, people jumping in the pool… it was insane. Felt like i was back in Hard Rock ibiza than a quiet tuscan b&b! guests were not warned or invited. it was so loud it felt like they were partying in our room! my partner went down at midnight to say enough was enough. No apology the next day to us or anyone else. (the other couples and families were all very upset). Chiara was also out on the terrace every afternoon smoking (despite seeing i was pregnant). i found the enjoy the terrace at all and we had to stay in our room or go into town we felt like we were encroaching in her house, rather than paying guests. We feel absolutely cheated out of £600. When we asked her about it. she said she could do what she wanted as it was her house. we have recordings of the noise and have contacted booking.com.

Sweet little place with a very nice pool

Everything is like on the pictures. Really sweet and clean room. Nice, but small bathroom. AC was working perfectly. Pool is small, but big enough and has clean, cristal clear water. Most of the time, we had it completely to our selves. Breakfast was good for Italian standards. Personal is really friendly.

We got served scrambled eggs with bacon only on the first day. After that eggs were either completely out or only boiled eggs were available. Shower curtain was moldy at the bottom. Doors are not soundproof at all, so you can hear everything what is going on downstairs and vice versa.

quaint place located in a lush valley close to Pietrasanta - 20min by foot

the internet connection was poor to non-existent. poor mobile coverage in the valley. poor insulation of the room means you hear everything happening around you. parking was in an area that appears prone to flooding if heavy rain occurs.

Breakfast was excellent, staff extremely friendly and helpful, location was beautiful. Although not in the centre of town it is only a short walk in, and you do not need a car. Pool is amazing, especially during heatwaves.

I think there could have been fridge in the room, for cold drinks etc... but there was a fridge you could use in communal part, so a very minor thing. Place was pretty perfect.

Chiara was such a wonderful person , you could feel it from the details of the room , the decorations of her home and the most wonderful breakfast she prepared for us every morning. Thanks so much and we will be back again.

Das Frühstück war italienisch gut. Das Zimmer fanden wir inklusive Bad stilvoll. Klimaanlage ist vorhanden und funktionierte sehr gut. Man kann den Kühlschrank in der Hausküche benutzen und es ist ein schöner Pool vorhanden. das Fahrzeug haben wir 20 Meter neben dem Haus sicher geparkt. Es gibt Hunde, die tun einem nichts. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen.

Es ist etwas abgelegen, was ich als Vorteil empfinde. Es gibt kein deutsches Fernsehen, mit einem Apple Tv oder ähnlichen lässt sich das umgehen.

Heerlijke plek, een echte aanrader!

Mooie ruime kamer, mooie tuin en heerlijk zwembad. Het dorp pietrasanta was ook verrassend leuk! Erg goed ontbijt op leuke buitenlocatie.

De hond blafte soms behoorlijk als we aan kwamen… Parkeren kon bij het restaurant op de hoek, maar als je tijdens dinertijd kwam was het daar vaak vol, moest je iets verder lopen.

Heerlijke , mooi gelegen B&B met zwembad . Fiets afstand naar Centrum Pietrasanta . Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en alleraardigste Chiara de eigenaresse . Smakelijk ontbijt in de tuin. Mooie smaakvolle ingerichte kamers met een goed bed en douche ! Een aanrader :)

Het voelde voor ons als een Oase

Fantastisch mooi verrassend verblijf. Smaakvol ingericht en de Host zeer gastvrij. Een kamer met ruim, prima bed en ruime badkamer. De tuin is idyllisch verzorgd. Een zwembad een prieel overgroeid met bouganville. Met daarin een zitje om heerlijk te verblijven. Op de overdekte veranda met licht wuivende lange vitrage. Was het goed vertoeven op de loungeset. Om 8.00 uur aan het ontbijt.....en wat voor één!! Wauw, wij waren zo verrast om zoveel lekkers gepresenteerd te zien. Fijn buiten genieten van al het lekkers. Er was bediening die je een lekkere cappuccino, thee e.d aanbood. Grote stukken chocolade in glazen pot, veel keuze in fruit. En de lekkerste zoete hapjes van Italië. Ook kaas, ham en eieren werden aangeboden. Tegenover de B&B is direct een lekker Italiaans restaurant.
