The hotel is well kept and close to the lake. Surrounded by lush greenery and lawns, it has a beautiful garden out the front that frames up a great shot of the peak of Fuji on a clear day.
We had a Fuji view room and woke up to a clear view of Mount Fuji right outside our window.
We had a hire car, but if we didn’t; they have a convenient shuttle service to and from the station which would be helpful getting into town. They also have bikes and e-scooters for hire.
We didn’t have food booked in but walked 7 mins to the konbini as well as to a charming local restaurant close to the end of the hotel driveway. Our room was clean and neat.
The staff at the reception desk were all super lovely and chilled. Parking out front was easy.

Very helpful staff. Incredible breakfast spread included and YES wonderful Fuji view. It could have been a few degrees cooler inside to suit my taste.
A little warm in hot Japan July. Glasses of wine could have included a few more ounces.
