Great location

Hotel in good position on the side of the Rhine for what we were doing, touring the banks of the Rhine. Restaurant was fine and service good. Breakfast was good and set us up for onward travel.

Lovely place.

Great location. Restaurant was excellent and not over priced. Breakfast was very nice with lots of choice. Staff were friendly. Good parking. We booked a room with a view and what a fantastic view of the river Rhine it gave us.

Stunning and would certainly return.

Great location, on the bank of the River Rhine, with ferry crossing 200 meters away. Comfortable room with balcony overlooking the river as was the restaurant and bar. Lots of free parking space.

Pleasant overnight stay

Very comfortable, clean room with spacious bathroom and lovely view.

Sadly no lift and quite difficult stairs (husband has a bad knee!). At dinner, my fish was undercooked and inedible but my husband enjoyed his beef!

A superb hotel on the banks of the Rhine but be aware there is no lift.

Check in was quick and easy. Food in the restaurant was excellent and good value.

Car parking could have been better. Many residents totally ignore the white lines of the parking bays, which were a bit tight. A major difficulty was the stairs. Access to reception is up a flight of external stairs from the car park and rooms are on the floors above. There is no lift. Not suitable for elderly or disabled.

Quiet hotel well and comfortably equipped. Great dinner and breakfast. We loved spending great time in the morning break

It was clean, quiet and staff friendly. Air conditioner in the room provided nice cool feeling . Dining at the hotel terrace is possibly the best experience. We would recommend chicken risotto.

Street level garage parking for my motorcycle. Room was air-conditioned , bed comfortable and bathroom spacious.. Cooked to order breakfast was perfect.

Spacious room with a balcony overlooking the river and bottled water available. Everything was clean and well presented. We ate in the hotel and it was excellent food. Obviously the breakfast was excellent.

The only thing we weren't keen on was some of the art! Looked like burnt mattress and bin bags.

Peaceful river-side hotel, great stay

I had a room in the "old" part of the hotel: spatious, very comfortable, with a great view on the river. The breakfast was very tasty and staff very friendly. That old part has quite some stairs. Let the hotel know if you would rather be placed in the new aisle.

Good location for visiting the area around Remagen and Linz.

The location of the Hotel is good. It is very close to the ferry so you can easily cross the Rhine to get to Linz. The room was adequate. We had an economy double room which was in the older part of the building. The room was small. For a night or two it was acceptable but I would not want to spend a week in such a confined space. Breakfast was nothing special.

There are a lot of stairs in the building and this would make it unsuitable for people with mobility issues. Check which part of the Hotel you would be staying in if you are unable to manage stairs and steps. Our room overlooked the car park and in the late evening some people gathered under our window talking loudly and smoking. This was very unpleasant.

Perfect accommodation in every way.

This is hotel is an oasis. Very reasonable priced for their level of service. We’re cycling the Rhine radweg and this hotel is convenienty located right next to radweg. First impression is always staff, and the gentleman was friendly, helpful and welcoming. There is a secure bicycle parking room with outlets to charge E-bikes. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. The bathroom spacious with great fan. Two comfortable chairs so we could enjoy the amazing view of the Rhine. Breakfast is a generous spread. An assortment of fresh breads, many choices of quality cold cuts and cheeses, homemade jams, several types of yoghurt and toppings. And delicious fruit salad. Plus, yes it goes on and on:), my favorite Bircher Muesli. Also an array of juices, bottomless coffee and teas.

Welcoming staff, great location on the river in a very modern hotel.

A very modern and well equipped hotel right on the banks of the Rhine river. We had a superb room with balcony overlooking the river. On arrival, Sara, on reception, suggested we change our room as the balcony didn’t have overhead cover and it was very cold outside. The alternative did have cover and she thought it would be better for us if we sat out to take the view. She was so thoughtful, welcoming and was correct in terms of the balcony. The room was huge with very comfortable bed and separate sitting area. A coffee machine was provided which was very much appreciated. Car parking was plentiful too and free. The staff were so nice and helpful too. Wifi reliable too. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. This hotel was perfect for our overnight stay on way home to UK and had great views of the river. It was also very close to a cross river car/passenger ferry should you want to visit Linz on the opposite bank.

The Rhein visit

The hotel was nice and the restaurant was very good and had a lovely view of the Rhein. The staff spoke English and were friendly and helpful!

The one area we were disappointed with was that the room was very small and we were at the back of the building where people came in and out and inconsiderately smoked right below our window.
