The decor is quirky the place well equipped and comfortable

The rooms were comfortable and well equipped . We could also use the EV charger for the car and as a family we had adjoining rooms on the top floor which was set out as a private apartment

It was a fun place to stay, unfortunately very hot, but they quickly supplied a fan. Meals were excellent, staff were very friendly. And a proper cup of tea made a great stopover.

Perfect stay in a more than british Hotel in the centre of Germany

A really special hotel. Just so very british, starting with the interior design, the Pub and the hotel interior, the Mr. Bean and Queen in front to greet you, and last but best the full british breakfast. Excellent quality and no need for any further food for a very long time. Not to forget the great and very helpful staff. Just a perfect stay.

Eccentric Great British ‘museum type’ hotel and very friendly owners.

We loved how the owner has collected so many Great British iconic items and incorporated them into the hotel and grounds. When you stay there you end up going on a discovery trail finding all the wonderful items collected including a real tank and refurbished red London buses in the garden!

Great stay

Very nice place, a lot of exciting "things" around the buildings. The area can be walked a bit too. Close by, if driving, there are a few interesting stuff as well. Chocolate factory/shop for example right off the highway.

A great place to visit with friends or family. Bimmelbahn to Linz and subsequent Rhein trip are a must!

A countryside hotel overloaded with British decorations

Clean and easy to access, the room beautifully decorated

Difficult to communicate (the WhatsApp number didn't function for me, calling took very long, the email with the code came last minute instead of promised 2 days before). The bathroom was small and no hairdryer.

Hosts Monika and Gary and all staff so friendly and accomodating. Food and breakfasts beautiful! So much choice and freshly made. Catered to all our needs. So much to see in the themed hotel and gardens. Kept our little one entertained for hours! Would definitely recommend and enjoyed our second stay thank you!

An exceptional and quirky hotel with really comfortable rooms and great staff!

The bedroom, a single room, was one of the cleanest, best appointed and cozy hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Furniture of excellent quality, lovely bedlinen and a cozy, warm throw to curl up on the sofa with. I felt so at home and really loved staying there. The staff worked extremely hard but still made time to chat to guests and make them feel welcome. The breakfast buffet was superb, with food frequently replenished, keeping everything fresh and hot. I can highly recommend this hotel for guests who enjoy quirky, English inspired deco, comfort and cleanliness. Somewhat out of the way (a taxi ride into Linz or a trip on the little train from just outside the hotel) would really suit walkers, hikers or anyone wanting to get away from it all. The Christmas market was brilliant, small but really good. The duo entertaining us with songs and guitar true entertainers. All in all a very good experience. Thank you Little Britain, you nailed it!

Exceptional

A fabulous experience in a British themed (4 Star - luxurious with Egyptian cotton sheets) hotel just outside Linz am Rhein. I was in the "Dinner for One" Room. The decor inside is elegant and rich, the Peaky Blinders room full of leather sofas, very inviting, and there's a bar stocked with English Ales and beers. Enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast. The surrounding grounds exhibit a variety of English cars and London double decker buses. And, they have their very own Christmas Market during the Advent weekends with live music, fish n chips and cornish pasties, open fires and lots of good Gluwein. The attention to detail is superb. A really enjoyable stay, staff were great, nothing too much trouble for them. I will be back.

it is quirky, it is wonderful, wherever I looked my eyes discovered beautiful deco and interesting details. This place put a smile on my face during the entire stay. Full marks for the idea to put such a great place on my doorstep. The theme with different rooms which characterise British icons, the fabulous exhibits everywhere … it was such a refreshing difference to everything else I’ve ever seen with regard to hotels. Okay, I’m biased because I worked and lived in the UK for 30 years, and I love Britain, but regardless of that bias I can highly recommend The Little Britain Inn.

pleasurable and different

Our room (the beach room) was quiet and comfy and had fun art on the walls. The bathroom was large and with new fixtures. very clean. Above all, the staff were kind, understanding, and helpful. Notably, if you enjoy unusual places and browsing collections, then this is your place: life-size British icons adorn the property.

Family short stay - very enjoyable

Superb accommodation, super friendly staff, breakfast was terrific and we can highly recommend it. Our dog was welcome and the drive into Linz was very pleasant (approx. 10 minutes). We‘re definitely coming back.

Don't miss The Little Britain Inn!

The ways in which the Little Britain Inn develops and uses the "British" theme are not only numerous and diverse but collectively wonderful. From the full-size London bobbies to the characteristic red telephone booths and the Royal Mail mailboxes and from the authentic red double-decker London buses to life-size images of the Queen and flowery wallpaper everything is there to celebrate the distinctive, if occasionally whacky, British style. I particularly liked the large Secret Garden with its numerous references to children's tales. My wife was fascinated by the series of small, genuine ancient English police cars. A feature we particularly appreciated was the Guest Kitchen: we prefer quick, light breakfasts and the Guest Kitchen (which offers table and chairs, coffee maker, basic crockery and a refrigerator) was perfect for that. It was also ideal for cooling white wine. Whatever one's view of Brexit, a visit to the Little Britain Inn is fascinating and well worthwhile. And aside from the hotel there is a beer garden and a restaurant. There's plenty of place to park. Both "Tea" and "English Breakfast" are served.

The rooms too have lots of character. Much of the furniture in our "Agathe Christie" room featured hand-painted floral designs: and while it was colourful, it was difficult to use and occupied a lot of space. The steps and corridor leading to our room were well lit but not especially easy to traverse. The lighting in our room reminded us of trips to Britain many many years ago. On the other hand the bed was very good, the towels were changed each day, our room was very quiet in the evening and the bathroom was thoroughly operational.

The breakfast was excellent, both a full English and a continental breakfast. It was an ideal location, very quiet and the surrounding area was beautiful. Both Gary and Monika were lovely hosts, very interesting to talk to, and the staff wonderful

There was food available in the evening, but not really a menu. The bar closed quiet early in the evening
