The view from the patio in front of our room was simply spectacular
The whole arc of the eastern side of the caldera was laid out in front of us, from the southern tip of Thera all the way up to Oina.
Watching the sunset from there was magical
Also Costas, a superintendent was very generous with his time. He sat with us and gave us many useful tips about seeing the island.
He introduced us to a local gentleman who was able to drive us around and show us how residents of the island actually live and was able to take us to visit something I’ve always wanted to see, which is the archaeological dig at Akrotiri.
That site and the museum of Minoan culture in Fira were to me the most interesting things I saw in my entire visit to Greece
The breakfast was only fair
The bathroom was somewhat old and dank but was clean and functional.
The amazing view more than made up for these minor issues

The Caldera View room was absolutely amazing! Sunsets from this hotel are beautiful. There is a lounge room with a wall of windows you can sit in & enjoy the views as well. Breakfast every morning was filling & had a variety to choose from. Location on the island was perfect. Would definitely return.

Perfect location. Amazing view
Sewage smell. water wasn’t hot in the shower and would leak all over the floor.
