Checking out the receptionist was grinning towards my partner the entire time as if he thought she was a prostitute, it was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, great value.

The location is great. Close to the station and near the centre but quiet. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Great to have an opportunity to buy drinks and snacks and all were not at inflated prices. The breakfast had an excellent choice of food, hot & cold and as vegetarians we had plenty of choice. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would return if we were in Reading again

The cleaners were quite loud chatting outside our door in the morning, but that didnt spoil our stay. It was just a bit of a rude awakening!!

A nice central location with comfy modern large room

Everything was really clean and modern, large sized room and comfy bed.

Minor confusion on check in as I had booked 2 rooms and thought they would both be under my name but the second was under the guest name, and the attitude was a little cold while dealing but resolved no problem. No lift for people with luggage and the walls were pretty thin so I woke a few times due to sounds from other rooms. But nothing major.

Didn’t meet expectations

Room was dirty, lots of dead flies on the windowsill - this was in the middle of winter. The bed is on castors and the floors are hardwood. The castors on the bed didn’t lock so the bed slid across the room whenever you turned in the night Receptionist was unhelpful when this issue was raised.

I back the keys 1 minute after see the room. They can make fraud with another customer no with me.

After I pay my room they send me in another near build cold, dirty & ugly. This hotel have a fraudulent manager. They put beautifully photos in his Web and later send the customers in another place. I request back my money and I,'m waiting.

Somewhat disappointing ...

Good location - large, comfortable bed

The entrance lobby was unwelcoming with a very small seating area for meeting friends, etc, for a hotel of this price. There was an appalling self-service 'bucket' for want of a better description of crisps and chocolate - come on, do me a favour, this is not an economy motel in the States ! - Further, there was no information on nearby facilities or in-house services whatsoever in the room. Finally, although the bathroom was excellent, sadly lacking were grab handles in the shower. I rest my case.
