Outstanding hotel experience, it really is a small luxury hotel with attention paid to details!

This was one of the best experiences in terms of staying at a small hotel in the mountains I have ever had. Everything was top notch, the food, the service, the staff, the available wine selection and the ability to go to the SPA every day and sit in that sauna with the beautiful view of the mountains, then swim in the pool while looking at the first snow of the season (in late September) falling onto the neighboring peaks. What a find! I really feel like I will return.

There is absolutely nothing that this hotel could do better. The only annoyance is - because it's a small town that used to be a cloister - you get woken up every day at 6am by the church bells.... but that is not the hotel's fault.

Overall very nice but maybe not for us at this time

Cozy, well kept, clean. Nice garden, lots of choice for breakfast included in the price. We traveled with a young dog, not used to be left alone in a new space. and asked for the possibility to have breakfast in the room. They were very friendly and accomodating.

While everything was really nice, our bedroom didn’t have windows so no possibility to change the air easily. Again, traveling with our dog who we do not allow in our bedroom, we couldn’t benefit from the windows in the open space… The location is beautiful but almost no options to do nice walks that are nit going steep up the mountain…

Very good

Very generous and tasty breakfast. The hotel itself is very nice and well presented. The rooms and the grounds are pristine. The saunas and hot tubs were excellent. Bed was very comfortable.

The Location was very isolated and if you dont have a car, it is an extremely long journey to get to the hotel. There is nothing to do in the small village and you need to drive or get a bus if you dont want to just relax at the hotel.

I liked the location, friendly staff, the food was soo delicious and the restaurant was soo classic!! our room was big enough. I really enjoyed my stay and appreciate all their effort to make our stay warm and comfortable. We really felt home.

Sehr schönes und ruhig gelegenes Hotel im Schalstal. Serviertes Frühstück ohne Buffetschlacht - eines der Besten das wir je in einem Hotel hatten.
