Château de la Râpée Hôtel restaurant

It’s away from towns and surrounded by greenery. Parking very easy, dog-friendly. The chateau is quirky with cats and caged birds. Spacious room with far-reaching views. Dinner was delicious but very slow service. Good breakfast.

Lots of stairs. We didn’t get the room we booked. Restaurant service was very slow e.g waited 15 minutes for them to take our drinks order. Very noisy music until late - this may have been coming from another property. The pool was much smaller than it looked in photos.

Its heritage!!! Great old building, Bicycle friendly, and lovely and quiet…. Great food too

Beautiful elegance of an age gone by. Excellent attention from staff. Lovely cats. Wonderful to see horses being ridden in an equestrian centre nearby. Great food. Lovely swimming pool,

Nothing but it would have been nice to know more about the history of the house.

We have stayed here many times at Chrismas time en route to visit family and really like the chateau, it’s got real soul. Well located for us to sling shot to Dieppe.

Sadly it was not as lovely as usual. The restaurant, whilst open to residents, was offering no choice at all so we chose to dine out in town. When we got back at around 9.30pm everything was shut up and in darkness, so no lovely evening drink in front of the fire like in previous years. Quite disappointing for us as this is one of the aspects we love. Usually a very warm feel and welcome which was lacking this time.
