At this time of year, outdoor areas and activities on the property are limited.
The staff was great, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was basic, and the restaurant could use some improvement.
Restaurant did not match our expectation.

Rustic style in Tuscany
The location was nice. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. We also ate at the restaurant one evening and the food was very good. The rustic Tuscan style is very charming. The place is animal friendly.
For a stay of more than 2-3 days the cooking facilities would be inadequate. Showering in the morning was a challenge (water would run low very quickly. The drive to the hotel requires good tyres and suspension ;-)

Marco was informative and very helpful and made our stay enjoyable.
Historical building with lots of character, which has been converted into a hotel whilst retaining the original features.
Restaurant whilst having limited choice delivered good food and being so remote should look at extending menu. The staff also need to improve their service and personal skills.

An unforgettable stay that made Tuscany feel like home
Our stay at La Capanne was simply exceptional! Tuscany is no longer just a dream—it became reality here. The place is so beautiful in every detail: the vibes, the style, the staff, the restaurant, the food, the breakfast, and the pool… everything was perfect. Honestly, it feels underrated because it deserves even more recognition.
The only small downside is about 300 meters of unpaved road leading to the hotel, but once you arrive, you forget all about it. Absolutely worth it!

Charming comfortable property in beautiful setting
The property had a lot of charm. It was very rustic and super relaxing. The staff were very friendly, rooms a generous size and a fantastic pool.
We were quite disappointed with the restaurant meal. The menu read really well but the delivery was underwhelming
