Hotel Argentina

Stayed at Hotel Argentina during our Rome trip and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is in a very convenient location, especially being close to Roma Termini, which made travel around the city extremely easy. Most major tourist attractions were also easily reachable by metro, bus, or even by walking. The staff members were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, neat, spacious, and comfortable for a family stay. The hotel also had useful amenities like air conditioning and a digital TV, which added to the comfort after long days of sightseeing. Breakfast was decent and sufficient to start the day. One thing to note is that there are multiple hotels operating within the same building, which can initially feel a little confusing during check-in. The main downside was the lift — it is very old and quite small, and definitely needs improvement or modernization. Overall, a good stay with excellent location and comfortable rooms, especially for travelers looking for convenience near Roma Termini.

Great location, very clean and modern hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Minuses: phone to front desk didn't work; had to ask for use of wi-fi; nobody to help with your luggage or anything else; the very old, 3-person elevator hardly worked, therefore you had to walk down 5 flights of marbled stairs; the toilet had a line crack in it; the floor tiles in the bathroom rocked; the shower stall was much too small, even for a slim person; the heater in room made noises; there was no complimentary bottled water, no complimentary coffee or tea bags, and I had to go to front desk to pick up a kettle and a cup. The breakfast was minimal -- not available until 7:00 am, espresso coffee was very diluted and not hot all One of the owners kept smoking near the elevator. My neighbor's room lights didn't work at all. Overpriced eateries in the area; too many vagrants and pick pockets in the area. Pluses: the sheets were clean as was the room; within walking distance to train station. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
