GREAT WORKING AC!!! Comfortable bed!

Shower was very very small. The elevator was extremely small.

Central position. Very clean . Staff is nice

The lift in the building is very old. It didn’t work during check in and check out, but the caretaker carried all our luggage to the 2nd floor and down.

Comfortable, modern and clean. Location was ideal. Received water, juice and cookies in our room daily -- very appreciated. Owner was accommodating and helpful. Great A/C and shower.

There are multiple "hotels" per floor of this old building. Luxe Roma was on the 3rd level. Elevator is old and for 2 ppl or 1 person and 1 luggage. It was not working on arrival and we had to carry our heavy bags up after hiking it in the summer sun.

Not much really. It was decently clean. Close to train station which is good and bad (military presence and crime) Not much of a view but nice to be able to open the windows for air since it was so hot in the room.

. It was small, elevator was small and looked unsafe so had to lug heavy suitcases up many flights of stairs. There’s only 1 staff member that we ever saw and while he was kind of nice, he also acted like he didn’t understand what we were saying & then I heard him speaking English really well to some maintenance guy. On main road so nonstop sirens, street cleaners, garbage trucks, etc all night long. “Air conditioning” didn’t work. Shower leaked and only hand held would work, large shower head didn’t work, was very difficult to wash hair while holding shower head. Had actual physical keys for the front door of the building, the door to Luxe Roma and the door to our room - not convenient to be trying to find the correct key in the dark after a full day of exploring Rome. I also wasn’t aware that our passports would be scanned onto the employee’s phone on arrival - that felt sketchy - would’ve been nice to have a heads up or at least an explanation. The employee explanation was “need for check in”. Also room shown when I booked had 3 single beds - our room was one single, one double. My daughters and I don’t want to share a bed especially when it’s hot and the air conditioning doesn’t work. Might have been a slightly better experience if we got the room we were shown while booking.
