Great grounds, lovely rooms

Beds not very comfortable. Hard pillows and mattress

Exactly what we wanted; clean, airy, comfortable. Our room had mini fridge and great tea & coffee, we booked king room which had lovely big bed and was very spacious. We were meeting friends on their boat everyday so didn’t eat there, but the reception staff were v hospitable and helpful, the car charging was a bonus. Although it says 3 star, it was exactly what we needed, they had even opened the window and put a fan on in our room ahead of arrival, which in the July heat was a godsend. Thank you to this little gem, we will be back

Good value for money. Large spacious and clean rooms in the new section of the hotel. Very dog friendly, with a convenient dog walking paddock to the side of the garden. Staff were extremely pleasant especially Chris on front reception so went the extra mile to help us get into the village quicker as we were late for dinner !

The room was very hot and could do with some air conditioning although there was a fan. The bed was quite firm. The evening meal we had in the restaurant was rather bland and ordinary. Location was a good 15 minutes walk from the village plus another 10 to the beach although the beaches in the immediate area aren’t particularly accessible.
