Lovely hotel near the beach

We went to De Haan for a couple of relaxing days at the beach and Hotel de Gouden Haan is literally just 100m from the beachfront. As many hotels in De Haan it is located in an old villa and it still breathes the atmosphere of the 'old days'. The room was very spacey - more like a studio - and very comfortable with full size couch, kitchenette (basic) with refrigerator and water heater. Bathroom was modern with both shower and bathtub and double sink. Breakfast was also really nice with loads of (healthy) choices! Staff is very friendly and welcoming and will make sure that you will feel at home. The inside porch is a great place to sit, relax and have a coffee or tea when the weather is not that great

Not a negative experience but the hotel is not really for disabled persons - you should be able to climb some stairs.

Perfect location!

Perfect location. Nice area to sit outside. Easy walk to beach and tram Station. Exploring coastline was easy. Good parking area. Ate breakfast 1 morning and it was okay. Staff was attentive and room service each day. Lovely town!

Beautiful facility. Would be difficult for those who cannot climb stairs easily. Our rooms were on top floor, a little stuffy and cross wind was limited. Not sure how hot it would be in extreme heat.

Very good

The breakfast offered a rich choice. The hotel is nicely located near restaurants, the sea etc. The room was comfortable and the beds offered good sleep. It is very calm in the area. Internet worked fine. The bathroom and showers were well appointed.

It was mostly great. We would have maybe appreciated a more helpful attitude from our hostess about some questions we had.

Alles super!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und konnten - da DeHaan ausgebucht war- glücklicherweise noch in einem zwar kleinen aber sehr nett eingerichtete Zimmer unterkommen. Die übrigen Zimmer sind größer. Der gemeinschaftlich genutzte Bereich des Hotels nebst schönem Außenbereich ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Man kann sich Kaffee , Tee und Wasser nehmen und es sich gemütlich machen. Optimal ist die Lage im alten Villenviertel von De Haan nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand und den Dünen, von Restaurants und Geschäften. Der private Parkplatz liegt hinter dem Haus. Auch unsere E-Bikes hätten wir laden können. Lieben Dank an die nette Gastgeberin! Nächstes Mal buchen wir früher!

Alles perfekt - Wenn überhaupt können wir anmerken, dass vielleicht über eine neue Matratze nachgedacht werden könnte. Wenn man das Zimmer alleine nutzt, so ist es wohl üblich, ist es aber ok.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in stilvollem Hotel

Die Lage ist perfekt. In einer ruhigen Seitenstraße in absoluter Nähe zum Strand. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß. Man konnte sich gut bewegen ohne immer über die Koffer steigen zu müssen. Es war alles sauber. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es Zimmer die zum Entspannen einladen. Alles sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Von 13 bis 21.00uhr kann man hier einen kostenfreien Kaffee oder Tee genießen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und direkt 2 Tage verlängert. Vielen Dank

Wenn ich jetzt pingelig wäre hätte ich mir gewünscht das die bereitgestellten Teetassen und Besteck auf dem Zimmer nach Benutzung während der Reinigung ausgetauscht werden. So haben wir sie halt im Waschbecken ausgespült.
