The welcome from the Manoir Carpe Diem was so friendly and warm that it felt like coming home.

Overall nice but the communication and fee regarding the breakfast should have been clearer before.

The room was nice, clean, silent and well located.

I did not like the fact that it was not clarified in advance that the breakfast was not included and that we have been directly presented with a check of 75 Euro for 3 adults, thus including the full fee for a small child of 16 months who had not eaten absolutely anything for breakfast.

Perfect romantic getaway location

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for a nice walk to the beach and explore of the local area, as well as being close to Bruges for a day trip. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated with plenty of spaces to relax and unwind as well as a great little swimming pool. The rooms were clean and comfy and we had a very enjoyable stay.

A lovely hotel with excellent staff in a quiet location

Lovely hotel with excellent, helpful staff. The facilities were as advertised and the hotel was comfortable. The location is a short walk from the town centre but this meant the rooms were quiet.

Breakfast wasn't included in our room rate and was a little on the expensive side, so we didn't take it, preferring to walk into town for breakfast at one of the excellent cafes instead.

Loved everything about the hotel but was disappointed to see that the price for breakfast was not included. If you book directly with the hotel the price per room is identical but breakfast is included. I was under the assumption that booking.com would always offer a cheaper price.

Perfect for a romantic getaway along the Belgian coast

The staff is friendly, flexible and they go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. The rooms are super clean and comfortable, with plenty of amenities. Amazing breakfast buffet in a beautiful setting. The interior of the entire building is magnificent btw, with a lot of small details and personal touches. Top that with a characteristic building located on a quiet and beautiful location, and this is probably the best place to stay along the Belgian coast. Highly recommended.

In my mind, the best hotel in the area..I'd stay again.

A lovely family run hotel - beautifully designed and very clean and bright. The rooms were a good size and fair value for money in comparison with similar properties in the current market. We received a very warm welcome (maybe for some travellers if weary after a long journey even a bit too much information upon arrival, but I appreciated their efforts) and the proximity to the town was a bonus although it is not "5 mins walk" if you are with elderly relatives..Allow at least 10.

Check out is relatively early at 11.30 - although the staff were very helpful and kept our bags, they were left in the public reception area which is unsightly for other guests and not as security conscious as some guests may wish. A dedicated luggage room should be available at a 4 star hotel... Also although buffet and honesty bar are lovely ideas - given that we are still in a pandemic I found it uncomfortable to have to eat and drink things touched by lots of other people - there was no alternative service available.

Typical and beautiful seaside house in a charming village. Nice pool. Staff very helpful. Honesty bar with a lot of choices. Delicious breakfast. Spacious bedroom.

Very close to the beach, nice staff, the loft is perfect for two persons.

The staff was very good and pleasant. We have ordered a baby crib, but it was very small so we didn't use it eventually, and we have arranged not to pay for that service. Appreciate that. The location was good, 5 minutes for the beach. During the stay the corona measures were followed pretty good, everybody in masks, the hand disinfectors were there, etc.

It was difficult to understand how to use the different modes in douche. The breakfast in my opinion was a bit expensive, 15 euros per person. And I didn't see anywhere mentioning that we have to pay for the breakfast extra, because when we have reserved the room, we paid already the price with the breakfast (there were 2 options, one for 180 euros and second one for 195 euros including breakfast). It turned out that this 15 euros were only for 1 person. So be ready to pay extra 15 euros for each person coming with you. The swimming pool is quite small, especially if there are several people inside.

sehr schönes, ruhig gelegenes romantisches Hotel, der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ebenso wie seine Ehefrau und das andere Personal. Zimmer sauber, ausreichend groß. Nett sind 2 gemütliche Aufenthaltsräume. Ein beheizter Außenpool ist vorhanden. Gutes Frühstück.

Vraiment très bien et beau!

Hotel avec esprit et déco style à l’anglaise très chaleureux et confortable. Cartier résidentiel très calme, 10min à pied de la plage et 13min à pied du centre très charmant. Parking gratuit tout autour de l’hôtel. Superbe petit déjeuner buffet avec des oeufs à la commande, très très bon! Le personnel de l’établissement est accueillant, poli et souriant. Les chiens sont les bienvenus, un essuie est même mis à votre disposition pour eux, mais ils ne peuvent pas aller dans la salle du petit déjeuner.

Les infos pour le wifi ne sont pas mentionnées dans les chambres. L’eau du robinet n’a pas très bon goût. Dans la chambre 22 il y a un volet intérieur sur la fenêtre près du lit mais il laisse un peu passer la lumière allumée sur le toit.
