Danhostel Copenhagen City & Apartments

This was my second stay at this hostel. Despite a very negative experience during my first visit, I booked again because I had forgotten about it. This time, however, everything went as I described below. I had a very pleasant stay at this hostel. This time, the check-in was smooth and there were no problems at all. The bed linen was clean and fresh, and there were plenty of power outlets, which was very convenient. The bathroom and toilet were also very clean and well maintained. The location is absolutely ideal, with everything you need nearby and easy access to the main parts of the city.

The only negative aspect was the attitude of the staff. They did not seem particularly friendly or welcoming. During check-in, nobody smiled or made any effort to create a welcoming atmosphere. They seemed to work more like robots than people providing hospitality. I also felt uncomfortable asking questions because the answers often gave me the impression that they simply wanted to finish the conversation as quickly as possible and get rid of me. Of course, this is just my personal impression, but it did make the overall experience less pleasant.

Family room was very small but clean. Great location, easy walking distance everywhere.

Not much of a city view to speak of that was worth the extra money for a standard plus option. Kitchen very dirty and small. Luggage storage is complicated.

Inside the whole building it was very hot, also in my room. No wonder, since the rooms have no air conditioning. Thus, it was too hot for me to sleep well. The window could only be tilted.
