A Golden Star Modern Luxury Apartments and Rooms Budapest

I had a lovely stay, the property provided me with towels, shampoo, and all elementary stuff to make my stay comfortable, next time I’m back in Budapest I will stay here again :)

Great central location with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The host was very kind and allowed us to check in early. The check-in process was straightforward. Our little one loved the elevator :) The apartment was clean, reasonably priced, had comfortable beds, and even included disposable slippers.

Nothing major - just some damaged door frames and furniture in places, which slightly affected the overall aesthetics.

The room was pristine when we arrived. Andrea was so accommodating and replied back extremely quickly to messages if you had any queries

The owner was very kind and helpful before, during and after our stay making our experience ‘still nice’ - even when we had found many faults with property. See below listed.

1)The lift is not from ground floor. You have to walk up half a floor with your suitcase to get to lift. 2)The bathroom fitting was poor. There was only 5cm between the toilet seat and the shower glass. Meaning adults cannot use the toilet properly. This was not designed for tall or large tourist. Space was too tight to clean oneself. Very upsetting when your partner says they had to stand up as it was too tight …. 3) The air-suction in the bathroom was too noisy could not sleep after shower. 4) Air conditioner in bedroom was installed poorly with a drip pipe coming down the side of the wall. 5) Sadly we did not get a good sleep as there was not enough curtains in the room. Only half a curtain was provided/window: therefore the sunlight would get in making us get up very early in the morning. This is not nice when you want to sleep in after a night out. At the end we left the property feeling very tired we did not get a good night sleep throughout our stay. (We stayed for 3 nights) 6) 1 drinking glass chipped broken 7) plates washed and put away into cupboard wet. Wet plates stuck together with water. When removing a plate water splashed into my face. 8) for 5 people we had to share 1 teaspoon and 4 cereal bowls. 9) large shower rose broken - water overflowing from top 10) bathroom door frame rotting and peeling away. Owner needs to attend all of the above issues to make it a luxury apartment.
