Wonderful authentic home stay

Lovely stay in an upscale residential neighborhood in an old house at the top of the stairs. Lovely architecture and tastefully sparsely decorated. Perfect for our family of two older adults and two middle age, with a visiting college age son.

Stairs were a bit of a struggle for our 85 year old mother but that is not the fault of the host. Just beware if you have mobility issues.

Huge, comfortable appartement. Host was friendly, check-in was very easy.

LOUD construction work in front of the building - early morning to mid afternoon. Obviously not the hosts fault. But man, it was loud.

Beautiful memorable apartment close to Saarbrücken city center

This is an amazing flat in a beautiful mansion walking distance from the Saarbrücken city center. The place is perfect for a family or a group of friends. There are two bathrooms, and the fully equipped kitchen allows to cook and spend cozy evenings in the beautiful living room. I will come back for sure to spend some more time there.

Despite the fact that the neighborhood is quiet, a busy highway is very close to the house, and when you keep windows open you can hear traffic noise. Also, you need to climb many stairs to get into the apartment - there is no elevator, - and with heavy suitcases this might be difficult.

Wenn einem die Autobahn nichts ausmacht, bekommt man ein geräumiges Apartment.

Das Apartment selbst war sauber und geräumig mit einem großen Tisch zum arbeiten. In den angrenzenden Straßen hat man leicht einen Parkplatz bekommen. Kurzer Fußweg in die Innenstadt.

Das in der Unterkunftsmappe genannte WLAN war eine Katastrophe. In der Küche habe ich am Schluss einen Zettel gefunden, welches auf ein Public WLAN hinwies. Vor den Fenstern verläuft die Autobahn. Die Geräuschkulisse ist auch nachts hoch, trotz geschlossener Fenster. Die steile Treppe nach unten zum Zugang des Hauses war und blieb voller glitschiger Blätter - Rutschgefahr. Der Balkon hatte ein sehr niedriges Geländer(!) mit direkter Sicht auf die Autobahn.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, in der mein Partner und ich uns ein schönes Valentinstag gemacht haben. Jenny hat auf Anfrage das Zimmer mit Rosenblättern geschmückt und es sah toll aus. Das war unser 2. Aufenthalt dort und wir werden ganz sicher öfter kommen.

Tolles Apartment!

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Apartment, sehr sauber, gute Ausstattung, gute Lage, gute Kommunikation.

Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt: Balkon und Fenster gehen auf eine mehrspurige Schnellstraße, es ist recht laut. Ohrstöpsel zum Schlafen mitnehmen! Passt aber auch bei dem Preis.
