A well equipped little space

The house is situated on a hillside in a clean, quiet area, facing either the woods or a small park (which we didn’t have the chance to explore). It is on the ground floor, with just a short flight of stairs leading up to the entrance. Inside, you’ll find almost everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are spacious and comfortable, and all the basic necessities are provided in abundance. We also appreciated that we didn’t need to take care of the trash ourselves, as the cleaning lady kindly handled it.

Check-in was a bit stressful at first, as I didn’t receive the door code and had to call the landlord, though he later apologized for the oversight. The washing machine and dryer in the cellar were another challenge, we only managed one small wash on the first day, and afterwards the machines were often unavailable and not well maintained. This also seemed to affect the linens, which had a slight odor. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to make proper use of the laundry facilities, which was disappointing since it was one of the reasons we chose this rental.

Lovely apartment in Saarbrücken

Lovely apartment in Saarbrücken - we had asked for a cot and they had put a high chair in as well, which was really appreciated. It had everything you needed and the location was great - very easy to walk into Saarbrücken. We stayed when it was 36oc outside and the apartment stayed really cool. It's great there's free on street parking too - we generally got parked fairly close to the apartment, including on a weekend and public holiday. Would definitely stay here again!

Returning home on foot was challenging (for me, of course not for the kids) because of the hill we have to climb.

Enjoyable experience

The owner was really friendly and helpful, it was great value, the apartment was spacious and it was well-equipped with everything we could possibly need! I would definitely recommend others to visit.

Really lovely flat

Clean, great facilities and decor. Helpful host. All in all a fantastic place to stay.

My only criticism is that I think there should be a proper second bed rather than a sofa bed (or at least a thin mattress to roll out on top of sofa bed, I padded out with spare duvet etc). Also we never discovered the parking space but there were free spots available on the road.

Sehr sauber aber leider ein gewöhnungsbedürftiges Umfeld (Parkplätze)

Die FeWo war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Das Zentrum der Stadt ist in 20 min fußläufig zu erreichen. Man muss aber wissen, dass der Heimweg für Menschen die nicht so gut zu fuß unterwegs sind, etwas anstrengend werden kann, da der letzte Teil der Strecke bergauf geht.

Wir waren zu einem Zeitpunkt in der FeWo (Oktober) wo man morgens und abends schon mal die Heizkörper benutzen musste. Leider hat der in der Stube nicht funktioniert. Bei der Angabe, dass Parkplätze kostenlos zur Verfügung stehen, trifft leider nur die Angabe kostenlos zu. Zur Verfügung stehen kaum welche. Bei der Ankunft musste ich bis zum Straßenende (stadteinwärts) fahren, um einen freien Platz zu finden. Zum Glück ist gegenüber des Hauses eine Wendebucht, wo man das Auto be- und entladen kann. Dies sollte fairerweise bei der Frage der Parkplätze mit zur Wahrheit gehören.

Eine sehr gut ausgestattete, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung, sehr ruhig gelegen, das Zentrum ist gut zu Fuß und per ÖPNV zu erreichen.

- sehr gute Ausstattung (sogar mit Kinder-DVD für einen gemütlichen TV-Abend) - zentrale Lage - Parkplatz gehört keiner zur Wohnung, dennoch kann in der Strasse problemlos gratis parkiert werden - ausführliche Infomail nach der Buchung durch die Gastgeber - ausreichend Handtücher und sehr saubere Betten

- einziger Minuspunkt war der etwas klebrige Boden (von Auge war jedoch nichts erkennbar)

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gut gelegen, sehr gut ausgestattet, gute Abwicklung mit dem Vemieter. Wir haben nichts vermisst.

Die Garage im Haus war zugeparkt, wir haben aber in der Straße selbst fußläufig zur Wohnung gut parken können. Der Vermieter weist auch darauf hin.

Geräumige schöne Wohnung mit allen ausgestattet was man braucht

Eine sehr schön kreativ und mit Geschmack eingerichtete Wohnung. Bequemes Bett, alle Utensilien vorhanden. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und es macht Spaß die Bilder usw. zu betrachten. Die Parksituation auf der Straße ist eine reine Katastrophe. Egal wann wir ankamen, es gab keine einzige Lücke zum Parken, auch nicht vor der Wohnungsgarage. Wir haben an der Schule parken müssen und die Taschen berghoch schleppen müssen. Aber da kann der Vermieter nichts für.

Accomodatie heeft een goede ligging. Is niet ver van de klant alsook niet ver van de stad. Ook is alles in het appartement aanwezig wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben.

Parkeren is een dingetje. Je komt niet zomaar je auto kwijt.
