Family-Apartment Du Lac

The most wonderful part of this stay was definitely the location. The lake is only about 20 meters away, so you can practically go swimming right outside your window. The view from the window is 100 out of 10. The town itself is very charming and beautiful. I had read that the area gets very crowded with tourists during the day, but we were out exploring most of the time, and in the evenings it was peaceful and quiet, almost like a fairytale. The apartment was tidy and very clean, and everyone we met was incredibly kind and welcoming. We also didn’t really understand some of the comments about being asked to clean the kitchen, as it seemed perfectly natural to clean up after ourselves. Another big advantage is that each bedroom has its own private bathroom.

The only downside was that the terrace does not face the lake, although to be fair, nobody ever promised that 😀

Great quiet location, good connections to everything worth seeing (Lauterbrunnen, Jungfrau, Grindelwald etc.) apartment well equipped, and nice big, comfortable

The location of the apartment and the apartment itself were all great! The staff was great and explained things very well when I checked in the following morning after arriving after hours the night before.

I wish the communication was a little more straight forward. I had to reach out first several times about making sure I had directions on how to check in since we were arriving after hours. Once I had the information the process was very simple, but the apartment owners or managers should have reached out first.

Very good, you cannot ask for better location.
