The location for the apartment was excellent, it is close to all the attractions, even had a view of the duomo from the balcony! It was very spacious with lots of natural light. There was an elevator to the 4th floor, very good for us, and then you had to take a flight of stairs, which was not so bad with luggage. We did encounter a few problems, which I have to say the staff tried their best to help with. When we arrived the building door lock was not working, so we had to wait with luggage in the heat for someone to come out of the building for us to be able to enter because there was no other option provided to us. The cleaning staff had not been able to enter also and they were waiting outside, they were very helpful in contacting the building staff and once we were inside they helped with our luggage and getting the keys. When we got in we found that the AC in the living room was broken, after messaging the staff I found that they were aware about it but hadn’t communicated to us. They did leave us fans after I messaged them and left a nice note with a bottle of wine! The water stopped working on the last day which was a major inconvenience. But the owner was very helpful and stayed through the day until he was able to fix it, and also brought water bottles for us!

I think communication could be better by the staff about issues they already knew about and taking action so that the inconvenience to the guest is lessened. For example, The staff was aware of the issue with the building lock, but they did not communicate to us or have any alternative option for us. I had been messaging them just prior to arriving about our arrival time, so, since they knew when we were arriving they could’ve let us know. Similarly for the broken AC, since they already were aware, it would’ve been good if they had taken action to provide fans before waiting for us to complain.

We loved the accommodation and the large terrace was amazing too have in the middle of Florence. It wraps around two sides of the property so each bedroom has access and has amazing views of the pretty rooftops. The location was perfect to access both sides of the river. We would definitely recommend and stay again. We loved it

The apartment is large, and the terraces are a nice addition. Also, the location is excellent.

There are two major drawbacks to this apartment, which cannot be seen in the listing: 1) The apartment is listed as having two bathrooms. Only one bathroom is pictured on the site, and the second bathroom is very tiny, with only a toilet and sink, and not even a place to hang a towel. So if you don’t want to share a bathroom, the apartment isn’t a good choice for two couples. 2) The listing states that the upper floors are accessible by elevator. It does not state that the elevator goes only to the 4th floor, and then you need to walk up a winding set of stairs. My husband is partially disabled, and this was a serious problem. Had I known about the stairs, we would have chosen a different apartment.
