I stayed here for one night with my son as we were passing through, I had been informed in advance that the kitchen would be closed but the staff let me order a take away and eat in the pub whilst enjoying a great atmosphere and lover beer!

Friendly Staff, light airy, clean rooms and great atmosphere in the pub
Deep narrow stairs were fine for us but could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. A bit of information about this would be useful.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were made to feel very welcome. We ate in the Bar and had a very good meal, tasty and satisfying. Bathroom worked very well with plumbing all functioning properly and there was a great shower.
The bedroom was comfortable but would benefit from a bit of sprucing up. The approach to the stairs leading to the bedrooms is not the best as one passes a domestic area of the business and this could have been a bit tidier or the door kept shut.

location, beautiful village, coffee shop st the side, bed comfortable.
No food available, cleanliness- bathroom area needed more attention but was a good powerful shower. Small window broken so would not close noise late into night . Stairs were difficult to navigate due to type of flooring.
