- Large and spacious room and bathroom - Very nice couple managing property - it feels like staying at a non-intrusive relative's home - Cute cat called Pinta in the property - Lots of birds visit the trees in the property - Basic but nice breakfast - Quiet but couple of restaurants and a small grocery store are within walking distance
- The room needs better lighting. A high ceiling with one light is not enough. Recommend a floor lamp near the beds and a table lamp on the desk - Shower head was not good, needs replacement - Soap and shampoo are not great - Sidewalks in La Fortuna sometimes don't exist. Walking might feel/be unsafe.

The location was great — close to everything but well off the busy street. We had our own private cabin, with a porch looking out on the mountains. The host was wonderful — he served us a wonderful breakfast on our porch every morning, with fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange or pineapple juice, coffee, and ham and eggs or rice and beans.
