Villa Lapa Villa Romántica con Hidromasaje a 5 min del Centro de la Fortuna

Beautiful house, love thats its tucked into the forest overlooking a stream! Layout was great for my family of five, although the loft never quite cooled down enough so we pulled the mattresses down to the main floor, which was cooled nicely by the AC. Host was fantastic, very helpful, great location for exploring Fortuna! Love the balcony, hammock was a favorite, only disappointment (and reason for 4 stars) was the large house construction 25yds away across the stream, metal grinding and hammering until 5pm and resuming again at 7:30am. We only stayed the one night so unsure if this is typical, but probably will be a few more weeks by the looks of it. Once its done, no doubt the peace of the beautiful setting will be restored!

Amazing stay here! Kitchen stairs are narrow and tall, be cautious.

Some mechanicals were not working and location, check in details could have been clearer but…Great location, fun layout and host was pretty responsive.

The location is great, tucked away in the jungle with a lovely stream right out back. The hair dryer and washer/dryer did not work. The jacuzzi tub looks great but isn't functional unless you're ok with cold water. Water heater much too small to fill the tub. The wifi went down several times, the manager was quick to get it back on but we had to reach out each time. You had to be nimble and athletic to get down the extremely narrow and steep stairs to the kitchen area. We would look to rent a different property if we were to return to La Fortuna in the future.
