Yvette and Javier are the perfect hosts. All the little details that make their guests feel at home are really exceptional. The fruit basket in the morning, the bird feeder, the pipa fria on arrival. The apartment is very well equipped with a functioning kitchen, a very comfortable bed, and balconies where you can watch toucans and colibries fly by.

This was a beautiful slice of paradise tucked away in a residential area just outside of the downtown La Fortuna. The birdwatching from our balcony was mind-blowing, as well as the beautiful lush gardens and view of Arenal volcano.
